Most used apps on the first screen, everything else everywhere else, I did put everything in folders over the weekend but ended up resetting the home screen, it was just too organized. I use SIRI app search to find what I need.

Like many others here, I use category folders. But I also use as few apps as possible in favor of going directly to the associated website. I don't do social media, so that cuts down on a lot of apps. And I'm concerned about the vast morass of privacy violations from many apps, too, so I keep the number of apps I use to a minimum. And I periodically clear out any apps that I haven't used in a while. People seem to forget about that and their phones get cluttered up as a result.

But from so many of the screenshots shown here, people use calculator apps, as I do. It makes me wonder why Apple doesn't have one of their own.

This thread’s prompted me to get things organised, so I’ve now got 3 pages of Apps, arranged by Primary Apps, Secondary Apps & then Folders sorted alphabetically...

Widgets - Weather, Universal Remote controls, Regularly used Shortcut, Google Assistant & Batteries...

Page 1:
First three rows - Tier 3 regular used Apps, some still in their factory position, so I know where to find them without thinking.
Fourth row - Music, Universal remote control & video Apps.
Fifth row - Tier 2 regular used Apps.
Sixth row - Trial row for new Apps, which will stay there if they prove handy.
Dock - Tier 1 regular used Apps. Note the two browser are directly placed onto each other, as I switch between them regularly.

Page 2:
Top row - Online Shopping, Primary parcel delivery company in my country, Bank App.
Second row - TV/Movie Folder. Speed Test App (I’m constantly checking cellular speeds in my travels). Then current sports I follow (these alter, depending on time of year)
Third row - Petrol saver App.

Page 3:
Alphabetically sorted Folders.

First page is of my frequently used apps. Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram, Lloyds Bank, WhatsApp, WWE etc. Second page i've got a few folders based on genre.... And then it becomes messy. 6 pages of random apps, majority I never use anymore haha!

Similar to a couple of others but category folders down the right with top 3 apps for that category coming out to the left. Only 2 pages. New apps that I’m trialling land on the 3rd page until a decide whether I’m keeping them or not. If yes into a folder

Stresses me out seeing 789 unread emails.....
And all the other apps with unread notfications 😵😵😵😵

This is just a snippet. I actually have over 10k unread emails if I added all my accounts. I just don’t want to be bombarded on my phone so I try to keep it at minimal. I would be stressed out if they were all from my work email but they aren’t 😂

This is how I do it now, but some I find hard catorigizing... Like stores/restaurants with cards with rewards and coupons like CVS.

Thank you for House Tech. I never knew what to call that or where to put that stuff.

I have a folder for restaurants (Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, Chipotle, etc.) and a folder called Retail for store rewards like CVS, Costco, Whole Foods, T-Mobile Tuesdays.

My frequently used apps go by themselves on the first screen, as well as frequently used groups.
What health apps do you have in that health folder?

I wouldn't be able to sleep if I had 1 notification, that means work not done! 700+ unread emails is just insane!

May the electronic angels be with you

First 2 are local doctor apps
Activity
Health
Watch
iFit Sleep (smart bed)
MyQuest (blood work)

All the rest I probably should just delete, as I don't use them ha:

MyFitnessPal
HeartStudy
HeartWatch
AutoSleep

I like to keep my home screen simple by having my most used apps on the front page only. The last two rows are the ones I check regularly.
