Mine is nearer three feet long and not particularly thin.
I do however get some strange looks carrying mine on my shoulder with my camera attached to the end of it.

The trick is to duct tape it to your leg, and almost never take the tape off.

I understand some people are being smart and using innuendo but not everyone. Either way, the point is "stay on target". However, I fully condone hijacking topics which are bashing Apple users in said way.
