30 years ago when I was running 10 mile road & cross country races, I did a 4:20 mile on the track (grass, spikes). Just the one time.

These days I have trouble running to catch a bus.

I can do a 6:30 mile, but I weigh 131 lbs and stand at 5"5. 10% body fat. The rest is muscle. Playing runningback next year.

Nice. The last time I could even get close to that was 3rd grade. I did a 4:50.

for like middle school i assume as thats is way light for a running back lol

Yep. Next year is freshman year for me. Anyway, those measurements are from the beginning of the year so I don't know how much I weigh now... prolly only like 5 or 8 pounds more.

Fastest for me is 6:45 which I did in high school when I was playing soccer.

4 years later I'm still skinny but totally out of shape. Need to work on that...

During track season I could do sub-5:30 1600m. These days? Five years later? Probably float under 7 minutes.

Recently, for warm-up, I run on the treadmill at max for four minutes.

I run around a 5:50 now a days. firefighter academy helped trim that down recently, but I used to run middle distance is HS.

PR for the 400 was 50.6. That was about as good as it got. I run 5 and 8k's now for giggles.

4:41, when I raced the mile. These days, the fastest I do is about 6 min, but that's just in the middle of a longer run. I don't know what I could do if I raced a mile now.

My best recorded time was a 5:26.

If i was to run a mile today it would probably take 6:30-6:45

yea... running. whats that again:p
I tell you what i told my friends when i would drive across campus to get to class "why walk when i can drive" plus i magically turned into dunkin donuts to get some chocolate frosted donuts and a iced french vanilla coffee extra milk, 2 sugars ;)

I'm a pretty decent runner. My PR is 6:24.

My high school record is 4:22.50 and the guy that set it just broke it again! I don't know what his new time is; he's just crazy. He also just broke his previously held school record in the 2 mile (3200m) in 9:26.xx, and i don't know what the time for that is either, yet.

I'm also a pole vaulter at my high school :D

So I have decided to get into shape running wise....as I hadn't ran for like a year now

2 days ago I ran a 8:13 mile
Yesterday I ran a 7:58 mile
Today I ran a 7:30 mile

I haven't hit my threshold yet obviously as I just set the machine to so many mph and just do a mile

Just got me curious as to what mile times you all run

I could run a sub 6 in high school. 4 years of college and 60 pounds later, I'll pay someone to run for me...

5:45 for mile in hs and 60 seconds for 440 (yards), so I ran as an alternate trying to scrape up third place in meets. Our best miler was 5:03 and our best 440 clocked in at 53 seconds.

It's funny what I do remember after a bad concussion. Actually, all concussions are bad and many affect memory. I can't for the life of me remember my 2 mile, 880, 220 and 100 and those were ones I had fun with and the 880 was my main race. The 100 yard dash was way too fast for me and I am always in awe of those who can do it.

Today I wouldn't be able to do a mile at all outside of jogging and my 440 would be well over 80 seconds. :)
