No its not. What a blanket remark. 7.04 is working just fine on my iOS devices

It's actually true. I've seen more people than not, having issues with the iOS7. Both personally, friends and such, and people online like on this forum. 7.0.4 has been terrible on my 5s. Resprings about 3 times a day. I've seen this on 5s's fresh out of the box as well. Sick of it to the point where I paid the 99 bucks and got a developer account last night just so I can get 7.1 beta this morning.

Agreed. I think the people that are defending 7.0.4 really have no idea but they will be understand once 7.1 is released. Like night and day, 7.0.4 was not ready for prime time.

I am saying this 100% genuinely: my iPhone 5s has not had a single reboot in the near three weeks I've had it. The worst I've had is Skype locked up once or twice but that was easy enough to fix by backing out and closing the app from the recents menu.

Though I admit I'm curious to try out the beta.

Issues with tinder where it gets who you swiped left or right mixed up. Huge deal breaker. :D

Just installed 7.1 b2 today, will run and see how it goes.

Initial impressions, animations are DEFINITELY faster, without a doubt it was the first thing I noticed and said "wow, now I can don't have to enable reduced animations".

So what all is new... I dont see anything immediate.

lol.... you cray.

7.0.4 is terrible. No way should a so called stable release of IOS be released to the public in this condition. 7.1 fixes it all. B2 is rock solid.

Weren't you saying that 7.0.4 was actually "very good" and "very polished" just a few weeks ago (and that iOS 7.0.x is stable and "solid" in general)?

7.1 b2 is much faster than 7.0.4. I don't remember exactly there is some slight lag when opening apps once in a while. The icon will be highlighted but the app won't open for another half second. I don't recall that 7.0.4 did that. I did a clean dfu restore.

Ive had this issue in 0.4 but not 7.1 b2 at all.

I did a clean install and re-setup all my apps/settings, such a PITA but its the way to do it.

Guys,
I have upgraded and iphone 4 from ios 6 to 7.1 beta 2, no issues, the speed is almost the same, the user experience is I guess somewhat better.
Of course parallax turned of.

on my 5S it is much better than the original 7.04..the speed is much better, user experience is better..battery life compared to my previous i5 with 7.04..I don't know..does not seem to be better, but I can live with it.

I figured it out. When in not on wifi there's about a half second lag when opening an app. When on wifi there is no lag.

I admit I haven't had a lot of time with it, but from using it all day today my main two observations are:

1) Everything is faster. It reads your thumbprint to unlock faster, switching from app to app using the recents menu is faster, the works.

2) That said, if you had upgraded me from 7.0.4 to 7.1b2 while I was asleep and not told me, I don't think I'd know it happened. There's nothing insanely different.

IOS 7 beta 2 on iPhone 5C

Hi

I am. A IOS Developer. And I. This. Got the iPhone 5C. And I was wanting too no if you are a IOS Developer. And. Got the Iphone 5C. Running. On IOS 7 beta 2. How is it running. On your IPhone. 5C.

My iPhone. Is still running on IOS 7.0.4. I have been thinking about upgadeing. Too IOS 7.1 beta 2 but I would like too here some feed back 1st

Agreed, but it also depends on the apps. Huffington Post crashed for me after three stories on 7.0.4. Not a single crash on 7.1 b2. If someone isn't having app issues with 7.0.4 I can see why they think it's OK.

OP is asking for comparisons between 7.0.4 and 7.1 Beta. Why are you stalking me again?
Just recalling what you were saying in some other threads about 7.0.4 and 7.0 in general where I was posting as well. Kind of stood out recalling the conversations, as most people often do when it comes to discussions that they have participated in.

it's been a while since I clean installed iOS. how do you retain texts/call logs?

This is kinda difficult to explain and I believe this only happens on the 5s... do apps still 'jump' back into place when you reopen them? So, for example, I'm on Safari and I use multitasking to go back to the Home screen, on 7.0.4 it will jump into place which is VERY annoying.

I'm not seeing it any more on my 5s.

When will 7.1 go public???

I'm tired of the reloads/browser crashes.
