How long did it take to download Lion?

Between 10-15min this morning on a 60/5 cable connection.

Same here, mine was actually closer to 25 mins.

Strange, I have a 60mb connection. When I download like 5 Gb it takes about 15 minutes. Lion is not the quickest cat.... Busy over 2 hours and average of still 6 hours to go. I suppose I'm not the only one downloading this. I'm going to stop and tomorrow we'll see again.

Pity...would have been nice!

Took less than 10 mins for me, I'm on Virgin 100Mbit in the UK.

I'm connected to the Ethernet at this moment and no change It's still as slow as ever.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but on my 1.5Mbps connection it will take about 7hrs, if it remains at my full speed the entire time.

Normally large downloads with iTunes goes pretty fast but today it's a complete dissaster. Tomorrow I'll have another go. I expected to be done in 90 minutes, that is download and install.

Looking at about 4 to 5 hours on a 100Mbsec VDSL line in Japan. Usually this would be a very quick download... But on the other hand, every geek in Japan is probably trying to get this before heading off to work right now.

I paused my download, quit App Store, and resumed the download and it was many times faster. bad pipe, i assume*

*i know nothing about the technical side of pipes, but this abstraction worked for me

Strange ! It says 18 Hours even on 1gbps

Its strange that the time remaining shown on App Store downloads is close to 18 hours..

Wondering ... What if i have to switch it off after I leave office? Will it continue from where it left? or it would download everything again !
