Well the 6 was slightly thinner. But you're right of course. And if I had a rational explanation for it I would give that explanation.

Truth is I don't. I disliked the 6. Found it hard to use and too big. Yet I instantly loved the 6s.

Maybe it was because I was hoping Apple would update their 4" range and now have accepted the fact that isn't going to be happening anytime soon.

we can't differentiate the difference between the two phones. if apple didn't say it and we didn't have measuring tools, we would just assume it's the same size.

How long did it take you to be comfortable with android? ;)

I hated the fact that you couldn't get a decent screen sized iPhone during those days so I switched, when the 6+ came out I came back.

Generally willing to give all platforms a try without bias - have Asus Windows 10 laptop as main computer. Used android for a year, just didn't enjoy the experience due to lag, bloatware, bugs and poor support.

I switched from the 4S to the 6S+, it didn't take me that long. Both the 6S and 6S+ were big changes for me, so I just chose more battery life.

Took me less than one day, phone history:
iphone 3gs black [june 2011-june 2013] => samsung galaxy s4 black [5"] [june 2013-june 2015] => samsung galaxy s6 white [5.1"] [june 2015-oct 2015] => iPhone 6s+ rose gold [oct 2015-present]

With the 6s 4.7" and a case on, I realized i found I still need two hands as he case that provides protection also extends the width abit so it's as wide big as the 6s+ without the case on... which meant 1 hand using was impossible to type on the 6s so I had to 2-hand it anyway so pretty much for me both phone need to use 2 hand to get most out of it...

What made me change from 6s 4.7" to 6s+ 5.5", was because both phone need 2hand issue and also i took the better battery life phone with a better display and camera features [i really do a crap load of photography and i noticed the 6s cant render stable images well unlike the 6s+ from my testings]

so I just plunged and exchange for the 6s+ instead. Still can 1 hand scroll webpage but definitely not type with one hand one or the other... But nowadays i always use 2 hand to TEXT/msg people... because more stable, less likely to drop and be clumsy and dalso faster using 2 thumbs to type instead of one, you get so much in, its quicker...

To the overall size... 5 milliseconds

Actually hate the huge top and bottom bezels, too bad the display is only 5.5". I'm used to the 5.7" on my Note 5 and the gorgeous 6" display on my Nexus 6.

Even my fresh new Moto X Pure with very narrow bezels all around has a 5.7" display.

But I accept that Apple has become conservative and hesitant to offer full size screens.

I don't understand how you hated the 6 but loved the 6s, they are both the same size. Lol

I sort of get where that poster is coming from. I bought a 6 Plus last year. I tried it for 4-5 days and I just couldn't deal with the size. I felt it way uncomfortable to use. I'm sure there are posts from me on here from last year listing all the reasons I swapped it for a 6.

This year I stopped into Apple just for kicks. I picked up the 6S Plus and it felt familiar yet different. My first instinct was I liked the increased weight. It stayed in my hand better. Maybe after using the 6 for a year, I appreciated the added thickness.

I ended up buying a 6S Plus on the spot and sold my 6 on Swappa. I really like it. I'm not the one-handed phone ninja I was with the 6, but I'm getting better at one-handing it every day.
