How long did it take you to get your avatar?

Rubbish. -aggie- would qualify for Post Whore™. 😀 I posted at least 9 posts a day. Since the requirement for an avatar was 500 posts, 500/9 = 55.5 days to reach 6502a status. I have been consistently posting at least 9 posts or more a day. Oh wait, which means I took only 2 months! 😱

Maybe I should suggest this to Arn - After G5 status, there should be one more called Post Whore.
 
It took me 500!

Around seven months' moaning, but mostly a few days off, some Vin d'Alsace and some insomnia. 🙂

But what is unbelievable is that some guys can reach that 500 without saying anything interesting or meaningful.
 
About 3 and a half years to get my avatar. I only used to post sporadically. It is a nice milestone to have though. Most sites give you instant access to an avatar. I like the MR system. It probably makes people get more involved in the site than they would otherwise.
 
It took me 169 days to get to 500.

I was eager. ^_^ Had it up to 8 or 9 posts a day at time or more.
If I recall.
 
I think mine was just over a year. My 500th post was in a thread about the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 🙂
 
I joined Oct 2006, and reached 500 posts early this year, so that's a little over three years.

I was able to upload an avatar the next day.
