Hi, Not really a new face but I discovered you can use a live photo as a moving watch face. Easy if you have a 6s, + or SE phone. With an iPhone 5 there's an app to create a live photo.

I would love to see a video of what you have done. Can you post a short clip?

Here it is....

Not spectacular but nice change to static photo. Not sure why you only get about 1 sec of motion with wrist raise and full clip when you touch the display...

I am an Apple Watch owner and huge Apple fan/customer. But I would be niave and show my ignorance if I discounted the Moto 360 and other Android driven "smartwatches" that are really doing some very very cool things and have a lot of current 3rd party apps available that we currently dont...

Any Apple fan knows how Apple lock down UI customisation much more than Android. Always have, always will.
And I'm cool with that.

Because it is a watch

A "face store" would be a cool idea, lol.

I was at the Apple store yesterday and asked about this. I was told by one of the store employees that they hear this ALL of the time from Apple Watch owners with people asking about dial/face options like Android smart watches have.. The 2 store employees I was talking to felt very strongly that 3rd party face / dial apps will be coming in the future due to the demand they experience. Of course this was just their opinion and basically not an official statement, just us talking casually in the store.

One of the good points we chatted about (which I tried to make above) is the big difference between the Apple Watch and the iphone is that everyone has a cell phone. It has become a basic/standard part of everyone's lives. The Apple Watch is an accessory. It is an "add on" that no one really needs. Far different than a device that is a mobile phone. It IS made ot be customized with different straps, bracelets, etc. For that reason there is more chance of seeing customization.

Again, just a discussion and no actual facts (of course.)

This is why I also have the Huawai Android Wear watch, for this exact reason that I can wear when I want actually good watch faces :D

Maybe if there's enough of an outcry, we'll see custom watch faces, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I just sent a request and told them I am starting to wear my Android Watch more and more due to this

Love it! We all should do that... There is an appeal by many to have more watch faces. Apple could make millions hoarding the watch faces so only they can sell for now but it should be open to developers.

Huawai has the face I want. Chronograph with the inner circles showing battery and steps or heart rate or other choices.

The Huawai Watch gives me almost 60 watch faces, I LOVE the watch, so I like switching between the two.

I cant see why as greedy as Apple is they dont see the big picture on money that can be made off watch faces

Besides the watch faces, what do you like about the Huawai over the Apple Watch? Is the display better? How about fitness and usability? Does it integrate well with iPhone/iOS? Does it have GPS? How much was it? I honestly don't know any of these questions and you would be a great reviewer of both. Good or bad against Apple.

To me the display is better, it's the only Android watch with a sapphire glass face, and the case is steel. It does heart beat and steps but that's it as far as fitness and shows messages, notifications and runs very well on iOS. It was $299 but is normally $349.

Its a full round face and beautiful leather band standard. I love the always on screen to. I get more compliments on it than I do with my Apple Watch

Brett - many of my friends, who were all obsessed with "everything-Apple" have slowly started moving away from the Apple Watch due to the lack of faces. They keep their iphone and other Apple products but the Watch is loosing wearers over the most basic feature that just about everyone has requested.
