You actually confused a missed key with a lack of spelling knowledge. I'd rather be the guy that missed a key than be the guy that didn't recognize that's what happened.

Well, it's actually a typo since it's a typographical error.

MW--Full Definition of TYPO. : an error (as of spelling) in typed or typeset material.

Thus, it's a spelling error, so thus my original comment is still valid.

No one said it wasn't a typo. Confusion is common with you isn't it? Obviously you have some inadequacies where you feel like you need to try and make people feel stupid, but it appears to have back fired on you today.

Absolutely keeping mine. With the Apple leather case, it's just perfect. No bending. No lag. No issues.

Ramio - I went to the store, no luck in reserving. They said they now only sell the phones to walk-in customers starting at 7am, until 10am. This was just one store tho. Some others don't open til 9 or 10 so maybe their policy is different. Either way, they told me they don't do reservations if you have to exchange, that you have to stand on line with everyone else. Not sure if I wanna do that. I'll see how I feel about it but maybe I can get lucky and find a store with a 64GB + in stock and be able to grab that quickly. At this point, I may not care what color it is. I have the gold and absolutely love it, tho. I'll see what happens.

I can never go back to a puny screen.

Dirty 4.7 inch 750p peasants, hail 1080p 5.5 inch master race!!!

Keeping it! Love it.

The only thing I noticed is when on calls the volume seems a lot lower than my 4S was. I'll have to experiment more To see if there really is a problem. I hope not... I don't have any of these crazy gates (bend, yellow screen, crooked back logo, loose buttons, wifi drops, etc) so I really don't feel like exchanging... plus that's a hassle in itself. Anyone else with a volume issue?

Keeping it ....

I think you are missing the point. I never said you never said it wasn't a typo. I was simply expanding upon the point that a typo is still a spelling error. Thus, a typo is still a spelling error, so my original point still stands.

I was really hesitant to order the 6 plus. Went back and forth a zillion times. Was horrified at the size when I saw it in my hands. After a week with it:

Keeping - 100% sure. Love it!

But wish the software issues would get resolved. Safari crashes often. It is laggy, links don't work (touch and nothing happens) and can be blurry. Hope they (apple & third party) figure out the larger screen sooner rather than later.

That sucks man. I though I read you could. I must have misread Keep on checking the apple inventory multiple times a day and I hope you get one.

My wife and I both love our 6+. It's the phone that I've been waiting for since I tried out the Galaxy Note 2 for a month.
The only thing that I dislike about it is software related (unoptimized third party apps / minor bugs that still remain in iOS 8.0.2)

Thanks, Ramio. I'm definitely going to keep checking like a madman.

Worst case scenario, I still have an iPhone 6+ and by upgrading on launch day, I still keep my upgrade eligibility on track for the iPhone 7 launch day (assuming it's in Sept. 2 years from now, LOL) as I know people who got stiffed with their upgrade and had to wait because AT&T didn't want to move it up a few days or a week or so.

I can live with 16GB + when it comes to apps/content on my phone, I just hate that the OS and the updates take up so much space. Hopefully, I can snag the 64GB + for that piece of mind. We shall see.

My fiance and I are definitely keeping ours. I'm coming from an Android phone and am absolutely loving the screen and the battery life, especially standby. I can keep the phone in my pocket and no power drain, whereas on previous phones I had to set the device on my desk to make sleep.

If anything I wish I had iOS 7 on my phone. All my problems tend to be iOS 8 related. That is the only thing I wish I could change.

Skipped a few upgrades and finally went for the 6 to replace my 4s. I never considered the larger one until a few days before launch, and took a chance. I love it, and can't imagine going back to a smaller phone. The screen is beautiful, easy to see, and I've never used my 4s with one hand either. It all works for me.

Are you serious? You really don't have any control over yourself, do you? A spoiled child that knows everything. A Mr. Know It All. You can't even recognize what your problem is after people point it out and try and describe it to you. It's true, ignorance IS BLISS.

typographical error
Examples
noun
1.
an error in printed or typewritten matter resulting from striking the improper key of a keyboard, from mechanical failure, or the like.

typographical error in Technology Expand

(typo) An error while inputting text via keyboard, made despite the fact that the user knows exactly what to type in.

--- I disagree that it's a spelling error. Spelling error to me implies the person doesn't know how to spell the word. A typo is just --- well a typo.

Don't like that this model is going to be obsolete in a year. Apple will fix the structural and hardware issues. So it's returned.

That's kind of an extreme statement. It's not obsolete until the latest version of iOS doesn't work with it. So the iPhone 4 JUST got obsolete, but it's still a usable and capable phone.

As for the structural and hardware issuses, there aren't any. Unless you cound that samsung-funded "bendgate" as an issue

This is so true. If he/she's the type of person who thinks the iPhone 6 Plus will be "obsolete in a year", you could say the same about any other phone. The fact is that even the hardware on phones as old as the 3GS are still perfectly usable, even if Apple doesn't intend to update the software. If this person wants the "latest and greatest," getting something other than the 6 Plus isn't going to fix the problem.

And regardless of whether "Bendgate" is the result of a conspiracy by Samsung, or if Apple really cheaped out on materials and engineering in the 6/6 Plus, it depends on one's personal experience. People's minds have been negatively influenced by all the publicity this situation is getting. One should base their opinions of the phone on how the 6 Plus has worked out for them so far. If I was going on my experience alone with the 6 Plus, I would say that it's a great product, and feels more solid than the 5 ever did.
