16GB here. I use a lot Netflix a LOT so never need to store movies or television shows. Music I stream through home sharing and only have a few playlists with my most listened to music on it. Only a few apps that I actually use and a few games that I always play.

So I'm mostly only using about 6-7GB's. When iCloud hits it'll be great to have all of my media available to me wherever I go.

I had a 32GB first gen iPad. I never really used much of the storage on it because I don't really watch movies/tv shows on it, don't put music on it.

I opted for the 16GB iPad 2 and have 7.4 GB still available after 6-7 magazines (Wired, etc.) and 37 Apps, 10 of those are games.

If I need to watch a video there is always YouTube/Hulu Plus/Netflix :D

Hopefully for the next iPad 32GB will take place of the 16GB in the lineup

Also Home Sharing is awesome. I use it a lot more than I thought I would.

I have the 64gb, and would have bought a 128gb if it were available. you know the old saying "you can't have too much storage"

The votes are so evenly split! I don't think I'm really worried about maxing out storage with the iPad as much as I was with my MacBook Pro. I opted to upgrade to 500GB rather than 320 (some might even think 500 is too little) because I know I want to have this machine for around 5 years.

As for the iPad, since it won't be my main computing device or media hub, I'm going to try the lower end one first. Plus I feel like I'm more likely to switch it out for the newer model next year *just because.* During my return period I will thoroughly test it out for my needs, and I could possibly see myself upgrading to 32 if need be, but I couldn't see myself using 64.

Originally was searching the market for a 16gb cause I was on a budget. However I found a good deal for a 32gb on craigslist and picked that up. Good thing I did, cause I ended up using more than 16gb just for my music library lol.

32gb i think is perfect.

16GB. It's more than enough for my games, and any music or video I can just stream from home with Plex. I've never felt the need for more than 16GB. The days of carrying around large GB's are over. ;)

I have the 64GB and love it. It's what I wanted on launch day but couldn't get because AT&T would only sell the 16 or 32 model.

I have 16 with about 7 gb free. Sould have got 32, but I think I just want that to be more future proof and more at ease

64gb, and no. I'd have liked 128 or 256. I'll be satisfied as soon as they hit 2.5tb ;)

I am in a similar boat, I live my iPad but would like more storage. 256gb or more built in. I cloud will help a little because I can move some stuff around on the road.

fantastic informative poll. random people typing 16gb, 32gb, 64gb, and yes or no. more awesome polls!

More than happy with my 16gb wifi. Any music, videos or photos I can just stream from my NAS.

64GB White ATT here,

I was looking for a black 32 ATT, but this is what I was able to find, so I bought it.

It turns out the 64GB White AT&T iPad 2's are the hardest ones to find around here at the moment. I went to my Apple Store and to Best Buy this weekend, and they were both completely out of this model, although they had some black ones and some White 64GB WiFi models in stock. I might just buy mine (new) on eBay and wait for shipping.

Seeing that you're in the DFW region, did you try either the Ridgmar BB store, the Plano BB store, or the Eldorado Pkwy BB store?

I think either 1 of those 3 stores might still have what you want in stock as of now. Maybe you might want to give them a call to check before going over to one of them.

Good luck. :)
