i was going to get a 16 but my dad talked me into 32. i wasnt putting any music. just apps and maybe some video. he was right. i have used almost 16 gigs in just apps. now with the A5 games play very nice. real racing 2 for example.

64GB (2nd Gen), 128GB would be perfect.
Wi-Fi only, black in color (iPhone 4 tethering for 3G data)

Waited until now do get the deal off of eBay, like new w/ all original components/box and the black leather Smart Cover for $640 flat. I will also call AppleCare to replace it, so I'll basically have a new one for $640 instead of over $800 w/ tax and accessories! Hope I'm happy with it come Friday or Saturday.

I've never ever thought of that previously. You sir/madam are a genius. :D

64GB White 3G iPad2 for me, and handed my 64GB 3G iPad1 to my wife.

Love it, could probably survive with 32GB, but I like having loads of movies and my photo collection on my ipad, so I can show family and friends things I got up to overseas etc...

64 gigs here. Upgraded from 32 after placing initial order because I was concerned about the fact that I couldn't upgrade the storage. Turns out that 32 gigs would probably have been enough, even with about 100 apps and 2300 songs. I don't store movies on the iPad (use streaming from Netflix, PBS, etc., instead.)

Still, the greater flexibility and resale value was probably worth the additional expense.

I have a 32gig 3G iPad 2 and it's way more than enough because I only store my favorite playlists and albums along with a few apps. With Netflix, Hulu Plus, and HBO Go I don't need to store many videos because most of my favorite movies and TV shows are streamable. So, 16 gigs proabably would've been perfect but I always say better safe than sorry.

I watch a lot of movies and tv on my ipad2 so I wanted as much storage as I could get...I'm quite happy with the 64 GB and now that I have the amazing Netflix app, I don't think I will use all 64 Gigs...:D

Edit: Since I installed the AVPlayerHD app, I've added several movies/TV (some 720p) and now have a mere 5GB left...:D

I like having plenty of movies/TV stored on the iPad as I don't always like having to connect to watch them...it's nice to have the storage to be able to do that...:)

I know it's not for everybody but it works well for me...

And are you happy?

My first gen ipad has 32gb and my brand new ipad 2 is 64GB. The 32gb was more than enough for me and I was going to buy the 32 again in the ipad 2 but Future Shop had an "open box" 64gb 3G version that they had reduced by $50 and it was the only ipad 2 they had in the store so it was a no brainer for me to spent an extra $40 for double the storage.

I'm a 64Gb and likely would not have gone 128Gb if it had been offered. Reason is I'd likely never use over 64Gb over the life of my ownership of the device. My intent is to have it two or three years and give it to a niece or newphew and buy a new one.
