I will stay here thanks very much. I was warned about this place having certain members who would die by Apple. It was an innocent question made out to be malevolent by a couple of over zealous people.
No one is being over zealous or malevolent. People simply want an accurate poll.
This forum is one of the few places where people can enjoy their Apple products without fandroids trying to stick their 4+ inches in your face.

Just got a new one yesterday.
Old one had a dead pixel smack dab in the middle of the screen. At first I ignored it, but soon I could not look away and it bugged the crap out of me.
Also my proximity sensor sucked so hard I almost through the phone. The new one does not seem to have this problem....hmmm I dont know.
Signal issues with both phones. I havent seen full bars on my 4 in forever, when I saw it on my 3G (yes with 4.0.1) all the time at home. There are two towers next to my house, and I used the signal (jailbreak app) to see which ones I'm connected to, I should get a better signal. Oh well, bumper coming sept. whenever.

well in his defense, the topic title specifically states how many replacements have you had, meaning that he specifically wants the people who have replaced their phones in this thread. not the people with perfect phones. he's not interested in quality control or how many bads out of a batch of good ones there is.

1st - paint had discoloured under the glass panel on the back
2nd - dust behind the camera
3rd - small scratch on the back panel when peeling the back plastic off for the first time (only got it yesterday).
Going to get my fourth today. Im SUPER OCD by the way so i will inspect the phone thoroughly before i leave the store this time.......its funny steve said this is the most precise thing they have made, however there always seems to be something wrong with mine!
