I've owned all of them except the 3G. I was in the middle of moving to Canada when the 3G launched and didn't have the money to get that one. But I have gotten all the rest on launch day or at least near it.
I've purchased multiple of the first 4, but no 4s. I am on 4g LTE now and wont be on iphone unless I can retain unlimited data when it becomes a 4g device
The only one I've owned is a 16gb 3GS (still works great. My sister is currently using it). I like trying out all types of phones. I might come back to the iPhone if I like what the next one has to offer.
Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4S: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)
I'm a contract buyer. iPhone, iPhone 3GS, & iPhone 4S.
All 5. Had to import in the original since it wasn't sold locally. Was exposed to unlocking and jailbreaking back then. So when the 3G was officially released here, used my knowledge to make a quick buck
Sold all my iPhones though except the original since it has my name laser etched on the back and probably cos it's dead too.
I've had all of 'em except the 3G. I didn't really see it as a worthy upgrade at the time. Plus I wasn't happy that they moved to plastic for the back and didn't change the processor, memory, or anything except for adding 3G. I kept my sweet aluminum phone for another year.
I personally owned all iPhones from the iPhone 1 to the 4S. Over the course of 5 years, I probably had at least 20 (+/-) a few. More than a few times I bought/sold some iPhones to make some extra money. Other times I'd sell my iPhone, buy a new phone (windows or android), try it out, determine I don't like it, then switch back to an iPhone.
The 3Gs and the 4S. Husband lost the 3Gs about six months ago. Had a cheap & crappy LG to replace it, but it died a week ago. Just ordered the 4S, waiting impatiently for its arrival.
I am, as some one else put it, a contract buyer. So I had the 3G and now the 4. I loved my 3G and all, but looking back and judging from stuff I've read, it was the worst iphone of them all.
I love my 4 though. And I think I'll hold out for the next iphone even though my contract runs out end of this month (I'd rather not stick myself on a phone that's already 4-5 months old for a 2 year contract. Unless the 5 does something to ruin the iphone).
Oh wow that is crazy. No idea what you would need 15 original iPhones for but thats a lot! Nice to know you've had every model. That would be a cool experience!
