Yeah when I first got a hold of the 3G I was immediately hooked with the style and durability.

I had the original, the 3G, 3Gs, i4, and my current one!

I tried switching when my i4 broke to no avail, was back on it a week later lol. The first one I got with contract, and I believe the 3G too, then ATT changed their 1-year policy to 2-years so I've been paying retail price for them :/ but it's worth it. No better phone out there! So convenient.

Owned the original iPhone... Lasted me 3 years... It just refused to die... And when it finally did I didn't want the 3gs as the 4 was about to launch... When the 4 launched had other expenses so had to make do with a BB followed by a HTC... Finally pre-ordered the 4S...

So 2 for me...

Hard for me to answer because before my current iP4 on Verizon, I had tried the original, the 3G and the 4 on AT&T but did not keep them. Not because the iPhone is bad but because AT&T service is poor where I live. So I guess my answer would be 3.
