i feel like such an apple amatuer!

powerbook g3 wallstreet-got stolen from my apartment :(
powermac g4 466
ibook g4 1.2
powermac g5 dual 2.0

ipod 4th gen 40 gb

Of all the Macs I've owned, my original Mac 128K is still my favorite, There was just something so magical and mysterious about it. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen before and you can still see the influence of MacPaint 1.0 and MacWrite 1.0 in so many of today's applications.

Runner up: PowerBook 2300c, Apple really needs a new subnotebook. This computer was so cute it actually got me a girl!

I would have to express how many macs I have owned as a percentage of the whole. And what would that percentage be? 40 percent.

Mac Plus (platinum), upgraded to 4Mb with Ehman 20Mb HD
MacBook Pro 2.0 GHz, stock
iPod Mini 4Gb, 2nd gen, blue

Yeah, that's a huge gap, I'll admit. I switched from Macs to Suns to Linux to FreeBSD to OpenBSD, then back to Linux. The MacBook Pro is a secondary machine for me, but hey, it's a return. :)

no idea. sitting next to a g5 dual 1.8, a g4 sawtooth, a b&w, a 8600 upgraded with a g3, and more III's, II's, performa's, quadra's in the basement.

lots. leave it at that. god bless steve & woz. or just woz. or steve. can't make everyone happy, i know...

Own just 2 PowerBooks

Both PowerBooks I own have been end-of-the-line models:

Last revision of the Titanium PowerBook (1Ghz/1Gb RAM/64MB VRAM/AirPort/Region Free SuperDrive/100GB 5400rpm Seagate HD)

Last revision of the Aluminum PowerBook (1.67 Ghz/1Gb RAM/128MB VRAM/High resolution screen/Dual Layer 8X SuperDrive/FireWire 800/S-vhs out/AirPort Extreme/80 GB 5400rpm Seagate HD)

Personally, I prefer to buy last revisions to first ones. And I'd rather have a slightly older notebook that runs all programs and equipment that I use now than have a latest revision, screamin' fast notebook that really will not be useful for another year or so.

OK:

iMac G3 SE Graphite. Now died a death after the monitor went up its own backside!
iBook G3 Clamshell: Great little laptop, until someone tried to nick my bag and it fell on the floor at a railway station!
iBook G3: Replaced above machine, untill I tried to clean the monitor and the dam thing blew up!
PowerBook G4 12": Again replaced the above machine. Great little laptop, I would never go back to anything more than a 12" machine.
PowerMac 1.42GHz DP: Replaced my iMac. Really like this machineand hope it will keep going for another year or two.
