How many men are getting the white ipad?

If your a man, which color ipad are you purchasing?

White is feminine ? So all those men with white tee's on are feminine are they? White pumps (trainers) are feminine too of course. Golf balls how feminine are they ? Add more and more ridiculous examples.....etc.....

Just do not see the correlation. And if white is so feminine why is it not on the rainbow flag for all us 'color friendly' men ;)
 
I prefer the black one. I like the better contrast between it and the screen.

Yes. At the top of the forum page, just under MacRumors:Forums you should see User CP. Click on that. Then on the next page, you should see Edit Signature on the left hand side of the page. Click on that and you are good to go.
 
If I buy one it would probably be white, but I'd like to see it in person first. Always been a fan of the white iPhones as well.
 
Note to OP: when setting up a poll, you might want to run spellcheck.
Also, aren't MacBooks white? I guess they're just for girls too.

white for sure! i was introduced to apple through white products (first iPods and iBooks were only available in white). When i see white mobile devices I instantly think of apple. Can't wait to have my white iPad!! and iPhone 5 for that matter:cool:
 
Going to get white iPad with Carbon Fiber Lucky Labs skin on the back and navy blue leather smart cover... Should look awesome.
 
So many insecure men in this thread.
It's sad that you need to buy a certain color to make you feel like more of a man. Reminds me of all of the guys in my town with big trucks because they are compensating for something else.
 
Only a closetted homosexual would be concerned that the color of his ipad might say something about his sexual preference.

A gay guy who is not 'out' is not necessarily concerned about appearing feminine, they often just don't see the need to wear their sexuality on their sleeve or see that being gay is the primary aspect of identity.

I know many gay guys who have not told some family members, work colleges or acquaintances etc. of their sexual preference simply because they see it as something that doesn't need to be explained to folk who it is of no concern to.

Your post is as much stereotyping and utterly fallacious as the guys who think white is feminine tbh.
 
White iPad for me.

It just looks better. Besides, if my decision is proven wrong, I'll just exchange it out for its black counterpart.

Don't think that's gonna happen, but it's nice to have the option if the need so arises.

Not necessarily. Some gay people go to great lengths to hide it from people.
I think it happens this way fairly often. Though I agree with you on the "it doesn't need to be explained".

I agree with you and I know this is a fact, but was giving alternative examples to show that his post was based on a stereotypical response and in itself was as false as the blanket white is feminine statements :)

The thread title should read: How many males are getting the white ipad?

A male with a white ipad, might as well were a pink t-shirt.

We all know men are getting black.
