i wouldnt recommend that. our highways mainly consist of one lane roads (each way of course) - and they are uneven and rocky. thats what its like around my part anyway (northern nsw).
dual lane carriage ways are a luxury 😛
good greif that is not that many miles. I have had months were I cranks out more miles than your car has on it. I have crank out 4k in under a month before.
Old commute(California): 8.1 miles each way, total = 16.2
New commute(Illinois): 21.9 miles each way, total = 43.8
At least the windy single laners keep you awake and alert 😉
...your only worry be the roos. (and incompetent or perhaps drunk drivers...)
Well I must say I drive 47 miles each way 5 days a week that's 94 miles per day it kills me on gas and it kills me on my miles on my carIf you're a commuter that drives a car everyday I would really love to see how many miles on average do you drive to work or school per day?
The Average American Driver drives 33.3 Miles per day.
On average I drive around 83-86 Miles per day.
From LAX (Los Angeles International Airport/Inglewood Area) to Irvine (Orange County, CA) on the 405 to go to school everyday M-F
and just for your information I used to drive a Toyota Highlander, but most recently i'm driving a Toyota Matrix.
Rookie 😛The most I've ever driven in one sitting is 669 miles. 😱
Work from a home office, so none-to-low 😎
My current daily average is a touch higher than normal due to new car overuse. I have 2-3 days a week of none, a few ~12 mile days, and then a handful of longer road trips (like 200+), the latter being where most of my mileage comes from.
For reference, my previous car, an '07 S2K had 22K miles through 2015 🙂 (though being a 2-seater, use was way more limited vs. the current 4-seater, that being one of the reasons for the current choice).
