Given that I've had my new car for 6 months and it has 2,600 miles, that works out to 21 miles per day. However, my daily commute to the gym is 2 miles round trip and the commute to work is 4 miles round trip. So I drive very little on a daily basis.

I am fortunate enough to work about five miles from home. Makes having a full size truck more manageable from a gas cost perspective.

I dunno how many i drive anymore, mo odometer went over 999 and broke at 12,999.. but i don't go out enough anyway...

I've had my car since '93, so u figure that out.

I might take a new job that would require 130 miles of driving a day. My commute right now is 8 miles; am I crazy?

I bought a 02 rsx type-s with 295,000 on the odometer. 2 months later a bear runs into the side of it on the highway and it's a write-off with 310,000.

I work about 7 miles from home, but every now and then I travel to other cities (mainly for work) that are between 40 and 300 miles from where I live. I just checked the odometer on my Tiguan, and dividing the miles driven by the days I've had it, it comes to 29 miles per day.

Most recent was around 40 before I retired.

Had a summer job in Detroit during college and came in from Ann Arbor which was 45 each way, so 90 round trip.

Longest was Northern NJ to Greenwich CT for a couple of years, which was 55 each way, or 110 round trip.

Have a neighbor who drove a double trailer semi for UPS from NJ to western PA every day (5 hours out, 50 minute break, 5 hours back). I'm sure there are long-haul truckers with similar stories.

I probably average 1 mile a day.

I work from home most of the time, and when I head into the office, I drive about 1 mile down to the subway and take mass transit into the city.

For reference, I change the oil in my main car at 10K or 1 year, which ever comes first. I usually make it about 10 months.

With that said, I've been driving the MG to work a decent amount lately and I might make 1 year before I make 10K in the other car.

Some days, I might only drive to work and back, which is 10-20 miles(round trip) depending on the route.

On nice evenings, I might take an evening drive in the MG and can easily do 100 miles or better in an evening.

Running errands around town can add 30-50 miles easily depending on where I need to go.

I will typically do 150-200 miles on one vehicle in a weekend.

I live 35 miles away from work, but it's a great commute. Two lane state highway that has few people on it, usually only see deer and the occasional fox/raccoon, lots of hills, along a river, and I drive west in the morning/east in the afternoon so I'm never driving into the sun.
