My MacBook is my first laptop and also my first Mac.

The ease of use compared to using Windows is like night and day.

Performance wise, I have the 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo model and have upgraded the RAM to 2 GB. I can use Parallels running AutoCad 2007, Aperture, Photoshop CS3 all with no issues whatsoever.

If I could change one thing it would be the ability to close the MacBook without it going into sleep mode. Apart from that I love it!
 
100% happy since i upgraded to a fresh install of leopard. I had tiger before on the 2.4Ghz and it had tonnes of openGL problems which really hurt GPGPU simulation programming.


Wonderful system!! Ive had it since june's release of the 2.4Ghz 8600M never had issues with the screen or anything.
