I just got an iPhone 4 for Verizon, and I love it. I'm not upgrading again until it's 4G, which will most likely be next June. The iPhone 4S to me does not sound very attractive, its basically the same thing (based on current knowledge) and a few spec bumps wouldn't even give me buyer's remorse. Just wanted to see everyone's opinion.

*I want to add a "Yes, because I want to" option, but I have no idea how to do this, sorry!

Well I came on with the 3GS so I am apparently on the "s" cycle of iPhones.

I have a 3GS and it really depends on what I get on the next Rev.
I may do it just because I'm using 13 of my 16GB.
It may be worth my while because I really don't want more than processing power and a better camera than the 3GS.
I could really make due with a 4, but I'm waiting to see what the 5 has to offer.

Having just renewed my contract for another 24 months, i have dropped my iPhone 3GS in favour of a Samsung Galaxy IIS and am really not looking back.

The android phone is lighter, better in my hand, and is far less likely to shatter if i drop it, has a better camera, and, most importantly, better battery life, i used it all day yesterday, and all day today without charging, and it hit %20 about an hour ago.

my iPad purchase is what really made me jump ship from an iOS phone, i have no need of the apps i use on my iPad on my phone, i want a phone that works as a phone really well, and lets me run GOOGLE TALK as a live messenger app, not a web app i have to keep opening and signing into...Push google talk notifications have been a life changer already, im now not missing out on stuff because no one i know uses texts/emails/tweets or facebook status updates anymore.

i love my iPad, and wouldn't think about an android tablet, but i think the iphone may have had its day now.

Funny, complete opposite from me. Just went from a Droid X to an iPhone 4 a couple days ago, and I'd never look back to Android. The notification system was way better, but the iPhone's apps, screen, dual cameras, ringer, and iOS itself is just a lot better than Android IMO. I guess people get sick of the same OS and want to switch after awhile

For me, the big thing about phone upgrades is the camera. I adore my iPhone 4, but if they have a better camera on the next one, I'll go for it. If not, I won't and will instead wait for the 6th iPhone.

On the poll, you should add a 'Maybe. Depends on the features' option. I don't think I'm alone in waiting to see what the upgrade actually has before deciding whether to upgrade or not.

Upgrading? No, however I am moving on from my beloved baby:

It's done me proud, that whole 1p that I paid for it was even better, haha. But seriously can't wait for the next iPhone, day one purchase for me. Was originally going to get the SGS2 and then the next iPhone and then sell the one I didn't like but then I would have lost money so I've decided to hold out since the Nokia is a pretty awesome phone :D

Yes, I am tired of my iPhone 4. I hate that we have to wait until Fall. If things didnt change, we will be on our new iPhones now. :(

Would add more, but TBH, can't figure that one out, haha.

I've been eligible for an upgrade since March of this year. Unless the iPhone 4S/ whatever is very underwhelming, I'll be upgrading from my 3GS.

Bought a iPhone 4 off of Craigslist awhile back just so that I could keep an upgrade for the iPhone 5.

Hopefully it has some of the following wanted features:
- color notification light on the front
- slightly bigger screen
- even bigger battery
- A5 dual core processor
- 8mp camera
- improved antenna design

Do want :D

It just depends. If it's just a processor upgrade and 8MP camera, i doubt it. It all depends if I can sell my 4 again. Changing the upgrade schedule may hurt me selling to the usual buyer I sell to yearly.

If it doesn't have an improved camera and dual core processor, I doubt I'll get it. Doubt both aspects won't be improved though. :D

I personally am not upgrading until it is 4G. I really want:

4G (Verizon 4G LTE is insane, download speeds have been cited up to 54 mbps on the HTC Thunderbolt)
LED notification
Bigger battery
better front facing camera
improved antenna design
dual core processor

I personally don't mind the screen size, and I just switched from a 4.3" Droid X

I might, but it is upto Apple.

I would for these upgrades:

- color notification light on the front
- slightly larger screen
- better battery life
- A5 dual core processor
- better camera
- improved antenna design

And these would be icing on the cake.

- wireless charging
- FaceTime over 3G
- more customization (widgets, sounds, better lock screen options)

If not then I'll wait.

There's an iPhone 4S?
