So I'm going to assume you've never heard of BeeJive IM, Meebo, or Trillian.

Bigger battery? The iPhone is already the best smartphone when it comes to this department. I doubt they can make it much better.
Wireless charging? Do other electronics do this already? This might blow my mind.

Well I came on with the 3GS so I am apparently on the "s" cycle of iPhones.

It is called Inductive charging. I don't know if any phone currently has it, but there are after market options. It is also refereed to as Power Mat Wireless Charging. As I stated that would be the icing on the preverbal cake, because I think we are still a few years away.
The Palm Pre and the Palm Pixi came inductive charging ready to go, complete with a touchstone dock to charge on. The Droid Charge, LG Revolution, and HTC Thunderbolt have special backplates you can buy that will allow you to use inductive charging on a compatible QI charging pad. To be quite honest, as someone who has used wireless charging in the past, it really isn't all that great. My biggest gripe with it is the charging rate. Inductive charging takes a lot longer than charging with a normal power adapter. Not to mention the fact that you have to have a charging pad in order to use it (charging pads are much more costly than a power adapter). Wireless charging is great if you have multiple devices that you can use it because then you can just drop your devices on the charging pad and all of them will charge, but if you only have one wireless charging capable device then it really is rather pointless.
PS Vita seems to be the only Day 1 gadget purchase for 2011 and $250 is a bargain for its specs.Well. I am using an iPhone 3G, it is incredibly slow and frustrating at times. The lack of new features bug me to hell.
But the PSVita seems to catch my eyes and may get the phone at a later date maybe?![]()

I just got an iPhone 4 for Verizon, and I love it. I'm not upgrading again until it's 4G, which will most likely be next June. The iPhone 4S to me does not sound very attractive, its basically the same thing (based on current knowledge) and a few spec bumps wouldn't even give me buyer's remorse. Just wanted to see everyone's opinion.
*I want to add a "Yes, because I want to" option, but I have no idea how to do this, sorry!
4G or LTE because the next iPhone should support HSPA+ which is "4G"
And yes I'm selling my iPhone 4 and getting the new one I always make more off my previous phone than the new one cost.
LTE and HSPA+ are both considered 4G, but they are not equal. HSPA+ would probably be easier to accomodate at this point.
Bought a iPhone 4 off of Craigslist awhile back just so that I could keep an upgrade for the iPhone 5.
Hopefully it has some of the following wanted features:
- color notification light on the front
- slightly bigger screen
- even bigger battery
- A5 dual core processor
- 8mp camera
- improved antenna design
Do want![]()
