My 11" is my favorite Mac to date. I also go without a cover and just transport in a neoprene sleeve. 8 months old and still without a blemish.

Again, best Mac ever!

I love my 2011 MBA 256 GB SSD. Miss the ODD as I use an external but can manage. Great laptop and Lion is very quick on it.

This thread serves no purpose other than to express satisfaction. I've had my MBA now for a couple of weeks and its by far the most amazing computer I've ever owned. I absolutely love the thing. Its fast, light, and a work of art.

I love mine as well. I was debating on the 13 vs the 11 and went with the 11...totally worth it. My MBA is my second Mac, the first being a Powerbook G4. :D

I have been in love with my Air since I bought it two years ago, and my love affair continues today. It's a wonderful, beautiful, functional, light, powerful laptop with decent battery life, a wonderful keyboard, a marvelous trackpad, and a form factor that still makes people say "wow!" I plan on keeping this machine for at least another two years before the itch to upgrade gets to me and I cave in to it :)

It is a good idea to start this positive thread.
I am new to Mac, got my 2011 i7 in August and extremely positively surprised about the hard- and software.
It is just a different story working with such a responsive machine and experience a intuitive OS.
I am used to (now on work) to go for a coffe when starting-up or shutting-down my HP Vista notebook.
Now my Air waits for me, coz I have to change these old habbits. I do not need to go anywhere, I just have to wait a few seconds. My Air completly restarts in less time which I need to put my HP to sleep. Ok to be fair, Vista is old and OSX Lion should be compared to Win 7 or 8, but anyways, the difference is just amazing.
I'm absolutely happy with my Air, it is slim, light, fast, powerful (i'm a light gamer) I enjoy it very much!

It's the best computer I have owned since I bought a Commodore 64 and there have been a lot in between.

I don't know, I couldn't tell you since I can't pry it out of my wife's fingers since I bought the thing...

My first encounter with Apple was the Apple II in school. I was a kid back then. Due monetary reasons, our family could not afford one and we went on and off with clone PCs, a Commodore and back to PCs again.

Fast forward 2004. I bought my first Mac - the iBook G4 1.2GHz, and that was it. I've gone to 1 MacBook (White), 2 15" MacBook Pros, and now a 13" MacBook Air. I love it so much I bring it everywhere I go now.

I'll sell off my 15" MacBook Pro (2010) and get an iMac once it's bumped up to Ivy Bridge. The Air is just something you'll love to use and very portable. The build is just solid and I'm using it without any protector case or sleeve. Just ramp it into my Crumpler and good to go.

I just bought a new sleeve for my 11", and I also decided to order a keyboard cover skin as well. I never used one for my 13" MacBook Pro, but I did notice that debris would frequently fall onto the keyboard, and the keys would also smudge after a while. The covers are pretty expensive if I were to buy one from Apple or at my local computer store (about $20-25), so I ordered one from eBay for $5 with shipping included.

The only thing that worries me about the Air is that I'm limited to the 4 GB of Ram for the life of the computer. I want this computer to last me 3-4 years, but my Pro was already feeling sluggish after 2.5 years, so I assume the same thing will happen with this machine after that amount of time and will push me to upgrade early.

Which Crumpler do you have for your Air?

love my 11" air, best computer I've ever owned, my first mac computer, and my fav. apple product (also have an iPhone, iPad, and apple tv). Its been with me almost everywhere I go since I bought it launch week, and I'm still amazed how well designed it is when using it.

I love my 2011 13inch MBA. I sold my 2010 13inch MBP to get this baby.

I am not bothered about the limitation of 4GIG mem, as I believe for my usage, safari browsing, pages, iTunes and watching movies etc n it. Wont affect me. PLus I am hoping for this baby to last me a good 3-4 years before I upgrade, and i don't see apple requiring more than 4 gig minimum memory for any future OS X updates in the future. What do people think? You think they will or won't?

I love my 2011 13" too!
For me it is the best computer (desktop/notebook) i ever owned and it is now my main pc!

Same here. I'm in love. It's now my main computer as well since I don't use my desktop anymore. I even sold my iPad2 since I wasn't using it anymore.

This is by far, the best laptop I have ever owned. Bought the 11" Ultimate from 2010, and have had it for a week now... just awesome. I am getting the additional two years of AppleCare on it soon, so I won't be upgrading it for a while.. and really don't see a need to, seeing as it does everything I need it to do and FAST! Gotta say that 720p looks hot on here too... Wow. I didn't bother with the 2011 version, as I don't really need the extra speed or the backlit keyboard.. I am a touch typist, so it's not necessary. :D

I have loved all four of my Airs... I will say, however, that this latest 11" with the backlit keyboard is my favorite and "most loved" to date, though!

100% agree. Best computer I've ever owned
