Still on numero uno. I bought mine in mid-July after the Apple stores restocked.

Second one here. Probably going to send it in again because both of them have had quieter than normal speakers. I can never hear the damn things ring.

i just keep hearing of people constantly sending their iphone back and fourth to apple becuz of some problem or another. and i was just wondering, who actually has their original iphone from the day you purchased it to now without having to send your iphone in for repair or having to get a refurb?

i do realize this a forum where people will go for help and support, but i want to know, who is very happy with theirs?

and if you do have your original phone, what precautions have you been taking with it?

Don't believe what you read.

I have my original iPhone from iDay.

Physical problems: 0
Software Bugs: All of them, just like everyone else.

On my 3rd
Ditto.

Um, why not? Not everyone makes a huge stink about faulty goods. Not everyone sings the praises of fault-free hardware. But just because some of us have had replacements/ repairs and posted as such, doesn't mean they're lies.

On phone #3:

  1. Had issues charging properly (esp. with Apple's BT headset), and very jerky photo scrolling
  2. Dropped wifi all the time, still jerky photo scrolling
  3. This one seems okay so far... but I don't get why my photo scrolling is jerky. Tried out four iPhones in an Apple store with hundreds of photos and it scrolled so smoothly. At sixty odd photos or so, mine's still jerky.

Don't want to answer because I know the minute I do I'll have a problem!
(Did I just answer that question without intending too! Darn!! Jynxed!! )
:)

Oh good god, the photo scrolling always sticks a bit as new photos are drawn.

the problem isn't with the iPhones, it's with the level of perfection desired by the owner.
I can't speak for others or for their phones, but the Geniuses looked through the photos, scrolled a bit, got bug-eyed, and didn't hesitate to immediately swap out the phone. I'm guessing they saw an actual issue. :)

Still have the same one that I purchased on day 2. Love my apps and will not upgrade until Apple comes up with something worth updating.

I'm sure there are some issues. I'm merely suggesting that some people are borderline OCD with what they will and won't accept in a product.

Had mine since the 29th. No problems whatsoever. I carry it around and use it all day with no case, and the screen is still literally flawless.

On my 3rd.

First one crashed a lot and the Apple employees talked me into exchanging it one week after it was released. I said.....OK.

Second stop rotating one day.

Third has no problems.
