Just wandering how long these devices last. Anyone with the above still have the original battery and screen?

I still have my 4s phone, but I have replaced the battery once, even it didn't make a change. but since iOS 8 released, the battery has imporved a lot, i mean a lot, with at least 6 hours of usage.

My problem now..
Should I upgrade to 6s or not! I love these small inches screen, that's why I am hesitating for 5s or 6s!!:(

I have a 4s. Original screen and battery. No cracks. Battery is sometimes wonky but generally it still gets me through an entire day, depending on usage, of course. I love it. Updated to a 6s+ though because it's getting a little slow. I wonder if I'll miss the screen size...

4S still going strong with iOS7.1.2. The only thing that annoys me with it, is that it crashes in Safari quite often, likely due to lack of RAM.

Replaced the battery a year ago, although it didn't do a difference. Proximity sensor is not working anymore, but I broke it myself, so.. :p

My wife is still using her 4S, and hasn't replaced anything on it. Battery still lasts a day (normally lasts longer than my 5S actually..), and she's reluctant to upgrade as the size is perfect for her.

It is running a bit slow, but is on iOS 9 and that in itself is a miracle.

Yep, Safari sucks on the 4s!

I'd still keep it a year or two if it weren't for the 16gb - I need more mp3's on it! But to shell out 800 bucks for that..tough call. Love the general design and I want a black phone too, no so-so grey with the 6s.

I'm still using an iPhone 4 16GB - original screen, battery, everything. It works but I have a few gripes:

- Slow to load apps
- Slow browsing on wifi/3G
- Apps freeze occasionly
- Battery requires charging atleast once during the day and of course overnight
- Sometimes things like taking calls it can freeze and you end up missing the phone call
- Unable to upgrade to a newer iOS (cant even remember which one im on, 6 i think), so unable to download a few apps i want

Just minor things here and there, still very usable (although I am looking at picking up the iPhone 6S to finally upgrade a little!)

This. My mom still has her original 4S. No issues at all. She doesn't even want my gold 6+ that I offered to her since I'm getting the rose gold S plus. I kind of didn't know how to react to that lol

My Mum and Aunt are still on the iPhone 4, one on iOS 6 other on iOS 7, i checked their cycle count last month and they are on less than 300. I asked my mum if she would like a new iPhone and she said can i not keep the one i've got? So guessing this time next year they will still be on an iPhone 4 and not complaining.

Quick question: How do I view the cycle count of iPhone 4?

My wife and I are still on our 4S. We actually SHARE a single cell phone! We work at the same place with the same hours so it kinda works for us. We cant have our phone in our workplace anyway so we leave it in the car and use it on breaks.

The phone still works and has it's original screen and battery....but it IS on it's last legs. It freezes up and freaks out sometimes and the battery life isn't great. It also gets really HOT sometimes even when it's NOT hot inside the car.

But we are about to have a BIG CHANGE. I have pre-ordered a 6sPlus for each of us! So we are going big and we will each have our own smartphone for the first time ever!

Im still using my 4, having to use accessibility controls to turn it on and off and to use the home button, as both physical buttons are pretty much screwed.

Upgrading to a 6S Plus this week.

I use a 4s as my secondary phone for work calls. It certainly has gotten a lot slower over the years. Last couple updates have messed up multi tasking as well. I also play Clash of Clans on it, and I can no longer get phone calls or listen to Apple Music while playing clash of clans. Prior to IOS 8.3 I could listen to music and play a game at the same time.

I've been using a 4 as my phone for years now, finally upgrading to the 6s.

Pretty mad considering the screen's cracked, is slow as hell and the volume rockers/switch no longer work so the phone's constantly in mute mode.

My wife is also still using a 4(S), though she'll be getting my 6 soon--also original everything. Only issue is, of course, memory problems and battery being slightly erratic.

Download Coconut Battery to your Mac and then plug in your phone.

My 4s has changed the battery. So good after that, once a day to charge. Still in 7.1.2 jail broken.
Plan to go to 6s, but still unsure because USD rate is so strong.

Still using my 4s until my 6s plus comes on friday.

Still minted with no marks on it.

The battery is terrible on it so looking forward to getting a new phone.

My 4S is on its last week of usage before it begins its well earned retirement. I am a tad nervous about the size jump from the 4S to the 6S+, but I've also used a pretty bulky protective case on my 4S for the last 4 years, so it might not actually be that much of a jump really.

I love my 4S, but every app and IOS update makes it marginally less usable. I regularly use communication-based apps such as Facebook (and Messenger), Snapchat, Whatsapp etc, whilst also overseeing 4 different emails. All in all, it battered the battery and got to the point that I had to charge it every 4/6 hours.

Worst of all, trying to load certain pages was just a nightmare on Safari. That 'reloading page' error kept popping up more and more, making some websites really difficult to access.

Do you really think that you will find this new screen size practical?
And will you love it as much you did to your 4s?
I am afraid from this crazy jump to the new size!

I went from 4S to 6 and got used to it quickly. To 6+ might be another story, but I think you will adapt ;)
