I set it up but I'm too used to using the sleep/wake button that I find it to be less convenient.

I use it. So much faster to open the phone and more secure now in the sense that I can set a really strong password that I don't have to worry about entering all the time.

More convenient than anything though.

My s isn't here yet, but I know I'll be using it. My friend that already has his phone said it works great and I always lock my phone.

ETA: There are reasons I have to lock mine.

Same here. My order hasn't arrived yet either, but I also plan on using it.

In previous iPhones there were issues with the home button becoming mushy. I'm a bit worried about using it too much with the scanner.

Also what do you guys do when you just want to check the time or if you have notifications. Do you accidentally unlock the phone?

Love it, love it, love it.

You already hit the home button anyway, just leaving your finger there for an extra fraction of a second instead of a swipe and a bunch of key presses? Awesome.

See I typically don't use a pass code. But that was because it took too long to unlock

I find home button to be a lot easier to wake the phone up. Waking and unlocking the phone with one hand is very awkward with sleep/wake button. In fact, I barely use sleep button (I rely on 1-minute auto-lock timer for putting the phone to sleep).

Resting my finger for another split second is a lot easier than moving my finger around. Plus, it keeps the phone from getting smudges.

I will when it's set up in a few minutes. :) Now I'll hook my phone up to our corporate e-mail that requires a strong password to unlock the phone. Before I was using a four digit PIN.

Use it and love it. The one time I restarted the phone and had to put my passcode in I got mad haha

Now it feels weird NOT to have a fingerprint scanner. I find unlocking my iPad mini to be irritating now. I agree, I don't use the sleep/wake to turn it on; I just press the home button and then leave my finger lingering on the button for a second and bam, unlocked. It's so beautifully seamless.

I am using it all the time. It's is very convenient and fast using one-click method.

one-click method: touch and keep your finger on the home button about 1s then press. the phone will be unlocked right away. No need to to tap the finger on the scanner again.

Love it use it all the time! (Though from other phones I have the bad habit of always hitting the power button first to wake it, so that's a habit I'm still trying to kick)

You don't have to push down the button for the scanner to work. I don't see why using your fingerprint to unlock would make the button wear any faster.

You either use the sleep/wake button or press the home button and then remove your finger.

I use it every time. I love it. When I heard the rumors about a fingerprint scanner, I thought it was a gimmick. Not the case though. It's awesome.
