I use it all the time. With my job requiring a complex 8 digit passcode to unlock the phone for Exchange Activesync, the finger print sensor bypasses that. It is a godsend.

I use it every time I turn the phone on or download something from the App store. It's second nature. The only issue I have with the sensor is tough case selection. Anything that covers the button is useless to me.

So why would you buy a 5s if you weren't planning to use the scanner? Why not just buy a 5?

I have a 5 already. I'm getting the 5s mainly for the camera, slow mo, and to finally get 32GB. =).

The real question is, why would you ever buy a new phone just for the finger print scanner?

I use it because our enterprise policy requires a passcode, and Touch ID is faster and more convenient than typing in a passcode all the time.

I use it every time. I have a hard password set so now I can have an extra level of security.

Like many others said I use it all the time!!
Its just cool don't know why but it is...

Ditto here. I LOVE TouchID! I have a company-enforced long password and a policy that locks the screen immediately when it goes dark. I used to have to type the passcode 10-20 times per day. Now it's just a touch. So much less frustrating!

I use it quite a bit and have been since I picked up my phone. It truly gives the iphone a one handed usage approach. I also find it quicker to do the scan then to type my password. Its a well implemented feature.

I use both the scanner and the pass code. I'm getting used to the scanner, and it's pretty damned convienient.

Sold on it.

Didn't get the phone for it, but it is a pleasant surprise. What a great feature!!

Got my phone tonight and it is by far my favorite feature thus far. Have not gotten a chance to whip out the camera, but sometimes its the little conveniences that make a big difference. Calculated it out and it can save you up to 15 hours a year just on typing in your passcode and itunes info. That could grow to 50 hours + once we are able to use them for things such as paypal, stock trading apps, etc.

I love it and use it all the time. There has been a couple of times I have forgot it is there though and i've used the passcode:rolleyes:

As mentioned previously, I'm growing annoyed that my 4th gen iPad doesn't have this feature, and I've only had my 5s for one day.

It's beyond convenient and I intend to use it daily. No issues so far.

I do, works great and fast, I did the setup a little different in relation on how to hold each finger, I just kept circling the button basically for each of the fingers. Unlocks fast if I grab it from the top as from the bottom, sides, etc.
