It's just the way it is unfortunately. Don't get me wrong though. When I'm older and may still be posting on these forum's, I will probably think of a teen as less qualified in matters such as giving advise. I can see where other are coming from when trusting teens...
Yeah it is unfortunate, but we might as well live it out, they say being a teenager is the best years of our life, so might as well take what we have and enjoy it, cause it won't last us for ever.

I may be the youngest here. . .
13 years old and I bought it myself. I also pay for my portion of a family plan.

The REAL question is how many teenagers have one and pay their entire phone bill...lucky fools lol

P.S. I'm 21 so don't accuse me of being one

I'm 14 and I got a iPhone 3G, before this I had the iPod touch (got it about 4 weeks after UK release! :))

14, got it on my b-day, and just like "PowerFullMac" above, I had an itouch b4. I have the first iPhone, I like it more

I'm one month shy of turning twenty, and I purchased the iPhone 3G the day it came out. The business I own paid for the phone and the plan.

For those on a family plan, I don't see any issues with that. It's $10 per month. If the parents have Verizon and their son or daughter wants an iPhone with a completely new contract with AT&T so badly, that's a slightly different issue.

Just so you lot know, I saved and baught the iPhone 3G myself, and it's on pay as you go so I pay to top it up.

No one pays my bills for me :(

I also have one. I'm not spoilt, however. If I was, I'd have a TV from the last 10 years, and a MacBook.

14 years old, incase ye perverts are wondering!! ;)

15 (16 in a few months), and have a 16GB 3G, I got the first gen when I was 14 and I paid for both of them!

14 years old, gonna be getting a 16g black Iphone for Christmas as long as i contribute 100$ to it. Will be paying the for the data plan myself.
