I drop my 16Pro at least once a month if not more. The case has cracks on the corners but the phone is mostly OK. There are a couple of scratches on the face from landing on uneven hard surfaces where the case doesn’t help beyond the lip around the phone’s edge.

Once on Friday which was 6 weeks to the day my Air arrived. Parked in my driveway, took it from the MagSafe holder and put it in the thigh zipper pocket of my joggers but forgot to zip it. Walked up the driveway to get the mail and just as I got to the box I heard *CLUNK*. Stomach instantly sank as it was laying screen down at the bottom of my concrete driveway. Picked it up and both back glass and front were still immaculate with not even so much as a scratch.

There was a tiny scrape on the titanium rail in the upper right corner which was obviously the impact point. No case/no screen protector/no problem as nature intended. I have zero doubt about Apple's claim of the Air being the most durable iPhone to date.

I drop it at least a few times a week. It’s so much more common with the Mini than the original SE or earlier small phones, and I dread trying to use newer larger phones in these small hands.

I use Spigen cases, too. I’ve never had a phone take damage from a drop when in one.

I probably drop my 15 Pro once or twice per year. Hasn't sustained any damage, but it's also in a case.

I've dropped mine probably 30+ times, more than once a month on average. Always have a good case and screen protector, used to use camera protectors but now I just have a metal lip around the cameras instead. No damage from any drops with a case on in my entire history of owning iPhones, only times I've had damage were when I was without a case for a bit a couple times.

Dropping my phone is extremely rare for me. It just doesn't happen. That being said, my 17 Pro Max has already had one fall. Technically not a "drop", but rather a slide off a nightstand.

It was the culmination of a lot of random chance for it happen, and what's even more rare than my phone having a fall in the first place is that it happened to be caseless at the time too!

So my caseless, dark blue 17 Pro Max fell from a nightstand onto laminate flooring (no carpet) hard enough that I heard it hit the ground while taking a shower in the adjacent bathroom with the door open. I found it screen-down, and I was holding my breath as I picked it up. I knew that the screen should be okay because it did have a screen protector on, but everyone online has been talking about how easily the blue and orange models take damage on their aluminum frames... I'm happy to report, however, that as far as I can tell, my phone shows absolutely no signs of damage. I think that it must have hit pretty much flat on the screen and the screen protector really took the brunt of the impact.

Currently with my 16 pro max. Dropped twice from the waist height with the spigen air case on - 0 damage so far. How are you guys faring?
iPhone 16 Pro with Spiegen case.

Dropped more than 10x most likely, lost count. No damage to the phone but at one point the screen protector cracked and I had to put a new one on. Thankfully I bought a 3-pack.

iPhone Xʀ - a little over 6 years of ownership, 5.5 as a main device, 0 drops. (It has the original front AND back screen protectors, unblemished and undamaged).

Current iPhone 16 Plus, owned since March, so 8 months. 0 drops.

*Knocks on wood*

Previous phone was 13PM for four years. Dropped maybe 3 times, always at home off the sofa.

17PM none yet 🤞

Dbrand Grip should have me covered if I do.

Key factor for me is that I’m not a phone zombie, it’s not in my hand every waking moment, screen time about 90 minutes max a day average. If I exclude exclude Slay the Spire and Balatro that is 😝

I remember, quite a few years ago (iPhone 6, I think) and I unboxed the iPhone, standing up, at a bus stop, and it dropped and shattered!

I was gobsmacked.

I remember two homeless fellas, sat on a bench, and one of them said "you didn't wanna do that, did you?"

I never replied ...

12 pro max. Countless times 100+, run over by car in winter, rear glass cracked, front glass has one long crack, that is alomost invisible with screen protector. The back is covered ny a case...

Air got bumped off a tv stand about 2 ft high with a tpu case on, no damage done

Now my 14 Pro Max is a different story ha. First month I had it I was moving and it fell out of my pocket on concrete when getting out of the moving truck. Even with case it got a scar from that, so stopped using a case afterwards, and it’s fallen probably ~10 times, no cracked screen or back but lots of dings, I use it as my concert/going out phone now

Not a single drop on my current 16PM.... In fact I haven't dropped a phone since the iPhone 3G.... I was running across the street to catch a light and it flew out of my hand.... Shattered back.... Have not dropped or damaged a single phone since then (I've had them all except the 4S and this years 17 series) I never use a case, but do use screen protectors.... Every year I sell my phones on the secondary market and am able to sell them looking like new.

I had the crossbody strap on my 17 Pro and it drags down the phone from the table to the ground. It happened a few times already.
