It's NOT slight, I've seen, worked, used etc. LCD screens, the MBA is FAULTY!

It's how it is designed. That means it's not faulty. You just don't like it, because you are a perfectionist. Such a perfectionist that you returned the unit, but STILL bitch about it constantly.

A simple observation. The number of hostile judgmental Apple apologists blaming the user seem to far outnumber the OCD types. Without any facts whatsoever the apologists assume it can't possibly be a product problem. Very revealing.

This is simply not accurate. I'm no Apple apologist. There are people on these boards who obsess about the slightest flaw - thats annoying, but it's their business. What bothers me are people who insist that something Apple puts out is faulty when it clearly is designed that way. 95% of the people who discuss the "screen gradient" issue say their screen looks that way. A few have said their screen is perfect (a very few), and a few have had serious screen backlight unevenness, which they rightly exchanged.

Twice:

1) A pair of s4i headphones. Bought the Shure's which I should have just bought in the first place.

2) A MacBook case. I accidentally picked up this instead of one for the Pro.

I have to return my tomorrow because of poor battery performance (1% every 1 minute and sometimes worse) and because of how hot its getting (92-94c is not uncommon). Thinking about changing to the 13 for both of these reasons. However, I'd have to take a hit on the cpu performance because I'm not willing to buy a 13 ultimate.
