Coffee: 3-4 cups per day (my coffee mugs generally hold two cups of coffee though)
Alcohol: None.

My wife got me started on coffee. She can easily consume one pot or more a day.

As to alcohol my wife says I'm a cheap date because it only takes about half a beer to make me sleepy. Tried drinking some sort of brandy once and couldn't even get it down. I usually manage maybe one beer every one and a half to three years, depending on when I may feel like one. Alcohol holds no attraction for me really.

Soda on the other hand is my failing.

Up until a few years ago I could drink a case of 48 cans of soda within a day or two without trying.

Eventually that led to GERD and then Omeprazol twice a day. A few years back I got a Schatzki ring because of the additiction to soda. It required an endoscopy to cut it. Not being able to swallow the food you eat (steakhouse syndrome) becomes a problem at some point.

The omeprazol and cutting out soda entirely is pretty much a part of my life now.

Well, look at it like alcohol. Alcoholics can consume large amounts of the stuff, but they didn't start that way.

I started drinking more soda than normal when I was 15. When I got a car at 16 and had my own money that increased. It's sweet, I like sugar (way too much) so I just consumed it.

Other long term effects included muscle cramps and spasms, potasssium deficiences, sensitivity to hgh fructose corn syrup, cavities, etc.

At a certain point so much of it makes it start to taste like drinking cough syrup. At that point you've gone too far.

Pretty modest, between 2-4 cups of coffee. Occasionally regular or herbal tea. Alcohol the weekends usually when I'll have 2-3 pints per day or the equivalent in wine or spirit.

Typically 3-4 cups of coffee, often followed by tea in the evening. I have been known to drink quite a lot at times. Now I rarely ever drink. If it's available, I have a couple drinks. Somehow hangovers start to suck as you get older.

The cure for that is sufficient hydration; I usually drink a large glass of water per alcoholic drink irrespective of whether it is beer or wine.

3 to 4 cups of coffee a day, a couple of cups of tea and 0 alcohol.

Coffee not that much. Most days zero coffee. I prefer tea and cocoa.
Perhaps 3-5 cups per month, if that.
Alcohol even less. There are months and months before I have any alcohol and then within a week I might have a bottle of (insert any).

By soda you mean Soda Water or things like Pepsi etc?

I start the day with a Lungo and have 2 or three more during the day along with lots and lots of (black) Earl Grey tea. I very, very rarely drink alcohol (apart from the odd glass of beer when I'm on holiday)

Colas mainly.

Coca-Cola, Royal Crown Cola, Jolt Cola, etc.

Eventually I discovered Sam's Choice cola (made for Walmart) which for whatever reason was something I just really liked - a lot. It comes in flats of 48 cans each.

I like other soda, Dr. Pepper, 7-Up, Sprite, etc but not Mountain Dew. Orange and Grape soda is another one I like.

Pepsi I used to hate, but after the sensitivity to HFCS it's the only product I can find locally that has real sugar. Additionally it's less harsh. There's the Mexican Coca-Cola but they want $1 a bottle wherever I find it. One of those bottles would be gone in less than 5 minutes with me so pricewise not worth it.

Oh yeah, being pre-diabetic is also another thing that came along.

1 x 1.5L pot Chinese Green Tea (Black, no sweetener)

3 - 4 Coffees (Cream, no sweetener)

1 glass red wine (weekends a few more glasses wine or bubbles)

4L water (non negotiable)

Haven't drunk anything from a can in the last 20 odd years.
Cannot understand how people consume so much sugary fizzy drinks.

0 for both, I hate the taste of coffee and I hate the taste of beer.
Well there are other forms of alcohol. ;)

I hate poor coffee (if I really feel I need the caffeine then I chuck sugar and cream in but prefer to go without).

4-6 cups of coffee, two bottles of water and about 10 bowls of pipe tobacco a day
for the last 35 years or so.
Must be very good tobacco - not a smoker but love the smell of pipe tobacco.

aaah yes you're right lol, don't know why I assumed just beer... I will drink hard liquor like a mixed drink or somehting along those lines in social situations, but not on a daily basis and certainly not while just sitting at home.

Zero coffee - hate the taste and see no point in making it a “meal” with a bunch of cream/milk/sugar

Rarely any alcohol. I only drink it in social settings since I don’t see the appeal of drowning my senses when I’m alone.

Not very exciting of course, but I’ve hurt my body enough with sugar over the years that i might as well stay away from some of the other “bad” substances. I prefer to stay away from too much caffeine so that I don’t become dependent on it.

No alcohol. I do drink around 1L of coffee a day if I had to guess, maybe more. Distributed in two large cups and three small ones. I like reading the news with a coffee alongside my iPad.

2 cups of coffee/day.

I don't drink daily. Maybe 1-2 times/month.
