I was confused by how can you not taste sound and smell colors. :) What do you mean can’t have the beans? Sorry, not trying to be difficult. Oh, and it’s 2 largish mugs, maybe 20oz each. I admit if I interrupt this routine, about a day later I get a coffee headache which is survivable.
I can't tolerate the coffee bean, it makes me violently ill. It was a joke that indicates you had a lot of caffeine. I saw that joke once when someone said they used Red Bull instead of water for coffee. Haha!

Ha!
An interesting aspect of my coffee consumption is that it helps keep me alert, but does not keep me awake. In other words if I lie down fairly soon after drinking it with the intent of falling asleep, I can drift off and as far as I can tell, my sleep patterns are not interrupted, but this is just a guess. :)

There are a few of us like that around.
Helps clear the thinking. No impact to sleep.

Yes, that is me, too.

Alert but not necessarily always awake, in that I have little trouble falling asleep if I have consumed a cup of coffee.

I have to limit when I drink my coffee to early in the morning or mid afternoon. If I drink it to late, it will keep me up! That is usually the case, however if I drink a Monster or Red Bull, I don't have a problem falling asleep. Strange I tell yeah! On a side note, I haven't had either a Monster or Red Bull in quite sometime.

I've never had a monster or red bull. If you ever watched inbetweeners you'd know why!

I usually have one venti or trenta cold brew coffee each morning (with a little milk and about half of the sweetener they usually use).

I only drink socially, and I am not a very social person. Maybe 1 - 2 drinks on an occasional weekend, but not even every weekend.

I drink about 2-3 cups of coffee a day with my last cup by 1pm at the latest. I'll do 2 beers in one night maybe 3-4 times a month though I can go a few months without drinking any beer. For the holidays I'll get a Glenlivet 12 year or Jameson Irish Whisky and have a small shot glass every few nights trying to mimic Nick Offerman's Yule Log -
(so I rarely drink beer Dec - Jan).

Uh oh! I will have to check it out lol...

I am really digging cold brewed coffee right now. If you are so inclined I would recommend Black Blood of The Earth. They have some outstanding cold coffee, actually some of the best. But it can be pricey and well the caffeine is a little high!

Not in mixed company!

Not enough coffee or alcohol if you're watching any film that Kit Harington has done. LOL @ Pompeii.

Now you've got me curious.
Why not?
The Inbetweeners is not a politically corrrct comedy. It's very rude! Not something I'd watch with Mrs AFB.
But it is very funny. Not least because I can think of people I went to school with who these characters could have been based on.

Oh dear lord, I just watched a few clips on Youtube. I am dying. The scene on the water slide cracked me up to no end. I haven't been able to find the episode in question only a review, which I didn't feel like watching.
The energy drink one is the end of season one when they are doing their exams.

The waterslide is from the first film. Not as funny as the series imo.

I resist going to see doctors for annual checkups. Now I don’t have to; I can answer all the same questions here:
Q Alcohol?
A Occasionally
Q How much?
A Not much.
Q Can you be more precise?
A Not much, not often.
Q Coffee?
A No thanks. I’ll stop off and get one on the way home.

Truth? A mouthful of wine if it’s served at mealtime. The first cup of coffee is always by far the most satisfying, so I’ll usually stick at two cups in the morning.

I am suspicious of how many people claim they rarely drink. Kind of reminds me going to a sports bar, pub, or some other high caloric establishment for lunch and everyone orders a salad and a Diet Coke.
Age is a factor. Forty years ago, aged 27, my consumption of both was ludicrously high in hindsight. Younger people now apparently drink much less overall than the, so called, baby boomer generation.

4 to 5 cups of coffee a day. I used to drink a couple of beers a week, but I stopped drinking alcohol over the summer as part of a diet to lose weight and haven’t had a drink since July (and lost 30 pounds).

As it's pretty much an anonymous forum, not really sure why people would lie? Perhaps your worried how ahead of the curve you are?

But agree in my teens I drank more. I'd settled down by my 20's.
I went about 10 years without having a drop.
Now I just drink when I'm out, which is less than once a month. Even then I'm often driving so it's just the one.

Oh I used to drink alcohol like there was a shortage and I needed to stockpile.

However having my health condition, it's slowed down a lot.

If I'd seen this post a year or two ago, I'd have been saying 2-3 drinks a day.
