I use between 1-2 GB/month, with one one being 4+GB. I don't even know what I was doing that month.

I looked at my bill, and it said I used a GB in one day.. don't know how I managed that!

7gb this month, the roommate in charge of paying the Internet bill forgot so I tethered slot this month. Thank fully t-mobile doesn't charge for tethering but normally I am about 3gb a month. I always wondered why the big two charge so much (let alone why people are willing to pay.) When you have every prepaid offering unlimited for less then 60 a month. I know the phones are not the best but you would think for signing a two year contract you can get a price cheaper then prepaid.

It's about coverage. Where I live, t-mobile and sprint are worthless. That leaves at&t and verizon. Since I travel outside the US, I went with the only provider that met my needs. If I was one of those weird people who don't leave the country, I'd have gone with verizon.

Pfft, all of those unlimited posts should not count! :D

I have a 7euro-800MB plan and only find myself using 600mb/mo. I have a 32gb phone and carry all my music with me... and I would never have the patience to watch a movie on a phone.

At home we had 3G and I used to use 800MB-1.4GB. When I was at school we only had edge so I used around 400MB-600MB.

Now I'm on the 200MB plan. So I don't really use that much.

I'm sure though if I tethered my iPad 2 to my iPhone 4 I could destroy 4GB AT&T gives me in a week or two.

1.2 gb wifi and about 25 mb -400 mb 3g.

if im at college i use more 3g bc i hate signing in to wifi when not in the dorm where i have my own wifi network. if im home on break i use mostly wifi.

it consists of macrumors :D app shopper, misc tech sites, mild safari, kik messenger, and gamecenter games

ever since jumping to verizon, my data's gone up considerably. with at&t, i averaged 150-250 mb/mo. the last few months, however, i'm averaging 5-600 mb/mo. can't explain it.

This month I am on pace to use just over 200 MB. Much of my 3g usage comes from email, general web browsing, and downloading the occasional app.

Of course, my usage would be higher if I did not have wifi set up in my home.

I think the key is whether people have access to wifi at work (without being filtered/restricted) or school.

If you have wifi at work or school...really you shouldn't consume more than 500MB-1GB of cellular data.

It's those who don't have wifi access at work/school who can truly run up 10GB plus of data by streaming music/videos.

Me personally, I can be a heavy cellular data user if I wanted to but am around wifi most of the time. So my usage is between 200MB-700MB each month.

If I really wanted to, I could rack up 2GB per day just streaming netflix or slingbox (legally from the phone) 24/7.

If will be funny to see how people at work who rely on streaming music on their iphones will try to kill time deal with limited data (and it's only a matter of time). Maybe they will actually get more work done!

Bout 1.5 ~ 2GB per month. Some Pandora and Audiogalaxy streaming. Sometimes I listen to Arrested Development via Netflix in my car during the commute. That eats up a chunk as well.

Somewhere between 1.5-2.0 GB

Most of mine I think is downloading / updating apps via 3G. I am running 3G Unrestrictor so I can grab anything from the App Store and not worry about the 20 MB limit. If I only updated via wi-fi I'd probably use 1/2 or maybe less than I do now. I do tether maybe once or twice a month and maybe use 50 - 100 MB each time I do. I don't stream much. Maybe an episode or two of ATHF or something from the U-Verse app. Other than that its email, facebook, weather, news and a few games that use very little data - like Words With Friends.

Methinks you put "listen" in there so no one would jump on you for watching TV in the car.

Not judging...just saying...AD is worth it though.

Under 200 MB, usually under 100. I'm on or near wifi most of the time, and even if I weren't, the only thing I ever stream are MLB games (radio feed only). And only if I'm not near a TV, so once spring training is over, that usage goes way down too. LOL Netflix and Hulu don't interest me, and I'd just as soon listen to my iPod app as streaming music. Guess I'm weird that way.

My unlimited plan is a waste of money at this point, and I really should get rid of it, but it's that whole "what if I need it later?" idea that's kept me from going to a tiered setup.

Well I do drive a stair car. So I spend alot of time chasing off hop-ons, and that leads to extra time to fill. Hence the AD in the car.

I'm at about 900 at the moment and that is with good use of wifi. I could live with a 2GB plan but would have trouble justifying it if its only $5 less...
