A year ago and prior, I would use about 150MB a month. About a year ago I got a new job that sends me out of the country for 11 days at a time, and therefore I don't use data when beyond the US borders. Oddly enough, however, the 8 or so days a month I'm home I tend to use more data than I did when I didn't leave the country. It's almost a regular occurrence to get a warning from AT&T that I used 90% of my data.

So to answer your short question the long way: I use 200 to 250MB a month.

I may be moving projects in a week, and my company is considering send me either to Colorado or the UK. If I go to the UK, I'm sure I'll have roughly the same data usage. If I go to Colorado, though, I can easily see myself going over the 2GB limit. I think I'll threaten to jump ship to Verizon (which is an honest thought of mine) unless AT&T gives me unlimited again.

Im at about at .5 to 1 gb per month. I would get a 1gb or 2gb plan if it were 15 a month (200mb is way too small and 25 a month for 2 gb is too much), as for now i am staying on unlimited. Additionally i suspect mobile data usage will only increase over time, so i want to stay grandfathered in the unlimited for the mean time.

I somehow managed 2025 Gb last month. I got grandfathered into my unlimited data plan though, thankfully. I'm always on twitter and tiny village, but the killer was the PostSecret app that I was on ALL the time, constantly refreshing it. I didn't even know that much data was achievable.

Pics or it didn't happen.

35 to 40 GB a month. I tether my connection a lot. Stream video And audio content too...

Currently on something like 900mb and have 6 days left until my plan runs out. Within that 6 days though I'm sure I would have reached at least 10GB, going to be streaming the Australian Open on my phone every day really. I <3 Giffgaff.

Last month was my first full month of owning a smartphone & I used 1.1 G. I stay on wifi at home though.

better

there's a better thread here, called: ATT(fail) throttling MAP

go there & submit your average data usage / your market (city, state)

i've used 1.8 on average over the past year, but been using around 2.5gb in the past 4 months. for me it's: web (fb - pix upload, etc), nav, casual music streaming (tuneIn app 10-15h / month), email. but with siri, icloud, photo stream, etc ... it adds up to about 2gb on average

I pay o2 £3 for 100mb a month and last month, for the first time I got a text message saying I'd used 80% of that. Been on an iphone contract for 3 years and never gone over the 100meg.
