6S Plus with Apple Care+ and 2 silicon cases for 600$CAN to my little brother...very low price but it's for my brother

Sold my wife's 64GB 6s for $450. It was on a payment plan and she owed $363.xx on it but I just paid that off. She could have just handed it in for another phone but I figured I would try listing it locally; it was in brand new condition.

St the end of the day I made $86 and change in the deal as compared to just trading it in. On the one hand that's not nothing. On the other hand I had to deal with dozens of lowballs and stupid offers over the last week.

I didn't upgrade any other lines this year. Next year I'll see if carriers are doing the same deal where you trade in a paid off device for a free upgrade. I think $70 would be about the bare minimum for me to be willing to sell locally. Less than that it's not really worth the effort.

What he's conveniently not telling you is that it's a promotion where they give you a billing credit after a few months and agree to some other ****. He didn't actually get any cash.

Phew! Thank God you're here to keep me honest as I "conveniently" leave out info.

...wait a second...

Yup. iPhone 6 or newer in good working condition getting $650 for trade ins. My DPP for my 128GB iPhone 7 will be a whopping $4/mo.

And BTW, what exactly is the "other ****" that I agreed to? I'm curious.

Selling my iPhone 6 to my Mom for $180. It's my Mom so I kinda have to give her a good deal, plus it will enable her to finally get rid of the crappy off-brand Android phone that she bought from Radio Shack (which is causing her major headaches).

Before offering it to my Mom, I originally planned on trading it in at the Apple store when I picked up my iPhone 7. Apple was offering $225 for the trade in.

Your mom gave you this good deal called life lol. Just give it to her.

Trading my iPhone 6 64gb in to ATT for $650!!!! Only $100 for the iPhone 7 128gb. That's cheaper then the old subsidized plans.
Thank you TMobile and Sprint for forcing Verizon and ATT to do similar deals.

Makes me feel bad for Samsung users since they never get sweet deals like this! Lol!

My 6 year old son is getting my 6S plus 64gb. Obviously it's free for him! I planned to not buy the iPhone 7/plus (as I stated over and over in so many posts). But I always change my mind near launch time.

It will be a game time decision to buy Friday in store or not. I ordered full price pink iPhone 7 plus 128gb for my wife. She's has 6s 4.7 64gb I will "sell" to my niece for $350 and it's practically brand new replacement with square trade. I have Verizon side line with unlimited data on my brother account. So it costs him $35 a month to keep line open. So I just won't pay him 10 months. So how the $350 will get paid n
I'm "selling" my 6s Plus to my niece also and charging her $380. She just got her first job this summer and has no expenses, well except perhaps cloths.

Is that for new subscribers only or existing lines as well?

I was told it it's for anyone getting an iPhone 7 on a NEXT plan. After you activate you phone, take you iPhones 6 or higher to a ATT corporate retail store (not a dealer) and they will process the trade in. The iPhone you are trading in has to be in good condition.

Sold my silver Verizon mint 64gb 6S with some cases for $510 in Swappa today. Screw it. It's done and shipped.

Is it safe? I always worry they will receive the phone and then lie about the product and get their money back and then I'm out of money and a phone :(

Swaps seems to have a krettt good rep here. I'm with you though. Not worth the risk for me. I've had to fight an eBay case that I won but the headache of getting my money took weeks and it simply wasn't worth it. It's like food poisoning. All it takes is the one time haha

Nope keeping both SE $6S Plus, they both are great phones doing well can't find any reason to sell, the SE is only 5 months old

Pretty crazy you're selling it to her. You know how much $$$ she spent raising you? You can't swallow $180?

That comment was me agreeing with the poster. Maybe it wasn't clear. I will definitely be giving it to my Mom free of charge. The iPhone 6 is 2 years old now and what's a couple hundred dollars anyway.

I had a moment of selfishness there (I blame that green guy named Benjamin) but I have snapped out of it. Who knew the internet could actually give good advice from time to time?

Sold my iPhone 5S 32 GB Unlocked for $300 (live outside North America). Using a 4S 8GB (lol!) till my inevitable iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB on 16th Sept.

So, I am on ATT currently on a family plan that my dad has with 3 other lines and I pay him for my line. It is him, his sister, and my mom. They barely use the data so it is pretty much almost 15gb to myself. I am thinking with the verizon deal if I should switch over since I could trade up my mint condition iPhone 6+ for $650 and have my own bill in my own name. Anyone switch from ATT to Verizon before this and have a positive experience?

I have sold 9 phones I think now using swappa? All of them have been seamless. All comments back and forth are recorded by Swappa and never lost. There is no "under the table" discussion so you have complete commentary recorded before and after the sale. In addition, you are backed by Paypal. If there are any problems, you can open a dispute via Paypal and they will make absolute certain that you get either your money back, or phone back, whichever you are owed. I have never had this happen while selling and have received a 5 star review every time.

I will not use eBay because on a $500 - $1000 device I am not giving up 9% to them just to sell. I refuse to use Craigslist because I cannot stand the lowball offers, all of the scammers wanting my Paypal address or for me to email them at a personal address so they can steal my info. Craigslist is about the biggest pain in the ass I have come across. I cannot say enough good things about Swappa.

Thanks my friend. I pre-ordered the 256gb matte black 7 Plus to arrive this Friday. And STILL, I am not sure if I will keep it or go back to the trust ol 4.7" lol.

The outcome will depend on which provider gives you the best signal coverage for the areas in which you live, work, and travel most frequently. I had contemplated going to T-Mobile, for example, which has great coverage for some forum members. But where I live and travel I often can't get sufficient signal strength indoors. I'm with AT&T.

I sold my 64gb 6 for $360 last week.

I'd have taken the Verizon $650 credit, but unfortunately I sold it the day before that deal was announced.
