Is really worth trading in my old iPhone 6 plus to AT&T for $650 bill credit?

Some things:

-I plan on staying with AT&T for the foreseeable future

-Current contract ends 9/20. Aware that I'll probably have to wait until then.

-Already pre-ordered last Friday. Too late to take advantage of this? I pre-ordered using Next.

What are your thoughts?

As long as you bought with Next, you'll be fine. Just trade-in your iPhone 6+ to AT&T within 30 days of activating the phone.

I don't have next. I'm still under the 2 year contract. My contract is up. If I sign up for next it will add $36 per month to my bill. If I sell my phone after upgrading can I put the proceeds directly toward the Next agreement and lower the monthly charge?

I've got a craigslist deal going for $430 for my ATT 6s Plus 64gb. Since I owe $340 on it, I'll come out $90 ahead. Pretty easy transaction. I did the same thing last year.

Sold my 6+ 64GB on Craigslist yesterday for $400. It was in pristine condition (worked perfectly, not a mark or scratch). Had lots of people interested at $400....might have been able to squeeze $450 out of someone, but wanted to move it quickly. Used this to offset the cost of a new 7 128GB (purchased full price). Plan to upgrade again in 2017...hoping for a complete redesign next year.
