At least two hours a day most days. Usually watch a 20 or 30 minute TV show on my bus trip into uni, then music the rest of the time. I don't often use WiFi features.

you have to use your ipod at least 12hours of the day despite any other interruptions, i use mine for everything......alarm, calculator, organsier, notes, etc....

I'm a freelance writer and actually found myself using the iPod touch the other day for some emergency writing when I couldn't get to a laptop. I'm super-impressed with the device and can't wait for a real Word Processor. Rather than posting the story here, you can read about it on my blog.

I have found that after jailbreaking my use picked up again. When I am at home I constnatly have a laptop around and when I'm travelling I leave an ipod video hooked up to my car stereo. However, the extra functionality of the JB apps have gotten me back on it full fledged.

I go to the gym 6 to 7 days a week. I start off with cardio, and I typically watch a portion of a movie on my ITouch, or a TV show that I purchase from Itunes. After cardio I switch to music and do weights.

At work I unplug my computer speakers and plug into my Touch and listen to music during the workday. On weekends I often travel out of town and I always manage to find a hotspot. In the San Francisco Bay area I enjoy going to Peets Coffee and their wifi is free (hate paying for it).

On a recent vacation I used my Touch to check-in for my flight. I have to say, I really enjoy my Touch and for me it's much more than a music player.

i WANT to use mine all the time.

but i can't.

Why?

THERE IS HARDLY ANY WI FI SPOTS IN NYC!!!

I MEAN SERIOUSLY, WTH??!?!??!

this is NYC. the FINANCIAL center of the world. and cell phones dont work in subways, there is NO wifi anywhere except for star-makeyoupay-bucks.

Its a constant reminder of HOW SEVERELY FAR BACK the US is from the rest of the world, esp Asia. It's like medieval times here in the US compared to Korea or Japan. Maybe closer to caveman times.

as much as i love my touch, i should have gotten an iPhone.
Woah, relax, son.

Anyway, I use my iPod Touch almost everyday - multiple times a day. When I walk to the bus stop, I listen to music. While I ride the bus, I listen to music or play games or watch videos. When I'm at home, I use it as a touchpad, play the drum, and piano (and soon to be guitar). When I'm at friends places, I also use it for mail, maps, weather, internet... This things is damned amazing.

i used mine all the time. the interface is such an improvement over the 5.5 ipod it's not even funny.

Gave it to my gf recently, so she could use it to show her custom CAD created jewelry designs. She's also putting images of all the regular jewelry she sells on it, as well.

Instead of her carrying around numerous heavy, hard bound jewelry catalogs, she can just add different folders and add the images to the touch.
And unlike the catalogs, she can zoom in on images with the touch to show details in the designs. And she can whip it out of her purse at anytime to show it to potential customers. So instead of me using it as a toy, she's using it as a tool. Hmm...may have to rephrase that last line...

I'm honestly surprised droves of sales people, graphic artists and the like haven't seized upon the device for doing this. It works really, reallly well.

Only downside is that I don't have it anymore. Sigh. Maturity sure sucks sometimes.
