The idea of a bonus is anathema to my job (public sector), so I get nothing except an extra day off over Christmas.

I did get an award for a particularly good idea though, so I'm happy.

Didn't and won't get s***. The company that bought us "doesn't do that". Nor do they have holiday parties. I need a new job. Any need a senior art director with 7+ years of experience and an attitude? ;)

Same as last year... equal to about four days pay. My company is pro-employee, believe it or not... no other comany I know of in my industry is anywhere near as generous.:D I used to be self employed but my boss gave me too much time off for waves.

'I'm in pest control.' *cocks 9mm

I am bonusless, lest you can convert my students' insults into tender.

The woman's bonus went up by a full third -- though she seemed to spend most of it today on pants. The sheer quantity of pants is vaguely ... boggling.

I'm in retail, so no bonuses per se, but we do end up making more (commission). They changed our pay plan though, so compared to last year, it's almost a full dollar per hour less. It's better during the off seasons by a bit though.

bonusless for xmas as usual... gotta love big companies...
although i am up for a HUGE bonus in march... too bad i will probably jump ship before then :( ... i cant take it anymore... interviewed with one of my manufacturers today...

hmm

The only x-mas bonus I got was my two weeks of vacation got cancelled and I am working 16 hour days, so I will have a nice big fat paycheck but will be too exhausted to spend it on holiday stuff.

Don't get a Christmas bonus - aside from lunch, a party and drinks.

Get a bonus in March once profits distributed - should be 15% or above this year :D

Yeah, my company also implements the pay raise in Spring (which is not related to Xmas bonus). Even though the amount of bonus will be ultimately based on how well the company did that year, my company (and my previous one as well) base the amount of bonus based on the job performance (which is good for me).

I thought bonuses was more of an anti-employee thing. Kind of like the santa threat for small children. Now be nice this year, or you'll get no Christmas bonus.
