It's very hard to not wear the Apple watch haha. However, occasionally I'd wear one of my mechanicals for a few days to run the mechanism, and I do enjoy the ticking and watching the sweeping second hand.
I'm a two watch at once guy. AW4 on the left, and usually a Seiko turtle on my right. I dig the information from the AW and I just like the Seiko, it's chunky, super easy to read, and I never need to charge it, just wear it.

I did something similar with a mechanical watch on the left and a Garmin vivosmart 4 on the right. Wearing two full watch on each wrist whether it was my AW or my Garmin Vivoactive 3 just seemed odd to me. Shame really as I like both mechanical and smart watches.
Love wearing my mechanical watch. I don't have an apple watch and won't be purchasing because I am happy with my mechanical watch. I wear my watch only on particular events.
I used to be a cheap Casio watch guy, never spent more than £20 on one as I was always bashing and scraping them with working on cars.
Since going back into education I’ve had a smart watch of some form and couldn’t imagine going back to a traditional watch from my S5.
Though if I’d been fortunate enough to ever own a nice mechanical watch, I imagine I’d still wear it for special occasions.
I don't wear my mechanical watches, or my Garmin, since I got an AW two years ago. But even before I got the AW, they mostly sat on the shelf (I wore my Garmin to run).
