Now days im using also other messaging apps for communication, but phone calls and text message (sms) are big part of my daily usage.
 
Rarely.

A little for work, but even then it's usually very quick interactions to confirm or ask something.

Actually, apart from one telephone interview, I don't think my 7+ has ever logged a call longer than 5 minutes.
 
Depends if the person I'm calling is part of my friends list on FB, viber, or Messenger. If not, then I use it as a regular phone.

Most of my communicating is done via Messages and email.
I'd say that's certainly a manifestation of the Millennial generation, but not uniquely. I say a lot of my communication is also via SMS, but I use my phone as a phone every day, multiple times a day.
 
Rarely, I phone the Mrs once per day at work for a couple of mins thats it, I have unlimited calls and SMS which are totally wasted.
