Siri is useless. Until she gets as accurate or as useful as Google Now, she's just a waste of bytes!
My kids love how dumb she is though!

I use it to identify songs and get directions easily but that is about it. I don't use it as much as others, but I still use it more than 3D touch. I turned that off.

Siri, turn off my lights. Siri, lock my front door. Siri, what's the weather like. I use it all the time.

Never, it's a battery waster, and completely useless, do you know how stupid people looks when you're sitting in a desk asking siri to remind you of stuff?

Oh I had a coworker that does that.

I remember this one time we had a little chit chat and I asked a random, perhaps stupid question.

Immediately she went,

"I don't know..but I will find out... Hey Siri... Hey Siri, What is (my question)?"

Also, every single day you could hear her going "Hey Siri, call mom" or "text (NAME), I have a meeting at downtown so I won't be home as early" and stuff like that.

Oh, then she turns her chair around and smiles at everyone and go, hehehehe, I love Siri :)

I've been using Siri A LOT recently. I don't know what they did, but they updated the hell out of her and made everything (including the smoothness of her voice) sooo much better. I had 17 messages that I haven't opened since Wednesday and had her read them to me, reply, edit the reply's, and so on. Even her reading back the texts were the way I would say it! From calm tone to bursting LOL.

Just fanboying right now, lol. Hey Siri is too cool. They did a great job.

I use Siri a lot when I'm driving with the "Hey Siri" feature but will most likely use the feature even more after I get a 7 plus because you no longer have to plug your iPhone in for her to respond to you.

Rarely. Like 3d Touch. However, the wife uses it constantly - mostly while driving to send texts and call using Hey Siri so it's hands-free.

I'm just too stuck in my little rut.

I use Siri all the time to set alarms and play specific songs. When I'm on the go I use Siri Eyes Free to start my favorite playlist and text while I'm driving.

I do not like to talk to my phone or other machines. Certainly not in public. I may be too old school to ever do this. I prefer to type. I type almost as fast as I talk and so do many people.

If speech recognition is truly able to pass the turing test, then I may have to revise my stance.

Be sure you don't set the bar too low there.

Old school or not, there's simply no way holding down the home button and saying, "Siri, remind me to pick up milk when I leave work today" isn't faster than unlocking phone, opening reminders app, starting new reminder, typing text, and then editing it for a location-based trigger.

If you simply feel uncomfortable or just don't want to, that's another thing.

@willmtaylor nailed it. I use Siri daily for the same list of features and tasks.

It's so useful, I really don't understand all the negativity surrounding it. Like any complex feature, people need to spend more than 30 seconds to learn how/when to use it. It's not "Computer" from Star Trek.

It doesn't really matter what it looks like when I'm in my car and ask Siri to read me a message that came in, or call someone, or remind me to do something or get something. Or when I'm at home and want to set an alarm quickly or create a reminder or something like that.

Not as much as I should. It works very well for me when I do. Need to use voice dictation a lot more.
Same for me really.

I use it to call & text people, set reminders (inc Geo fenced ones, which I find really useful), but I can and should make better use of it, as I just think it has the ability to make my life easier.

My motto is Work smart, not hard and Siri definitely has the ability to assist in that.

I've will be making more mental notes from https://hey-siri.io
