Mine just rebooted a second ago. So 4 days since the last reboot. I wasn't even doing anything. I didn't touch the watch I just saw the Apple logo pop up on the watch while I was typing at my Mac.

Well, you COULD tell if it has rebooted at all as it takes longer to launch an app the first time after a reboot. It could have rebooted more than once, but as long as your previously started apps start quickly, it's not rebooted.

I have NEVER noticed much delay, even after rebooting.

Note I upped your caps with BOLD!

Strange. I wonder what's causing this. Assuming the next Apple Watch what OS update should hopefully remedy any of these reboots that people are experiencing.

I've got today's software update installed now. No crashes since the update but I didn't wear mine today until this evening.

My series 2 just did a random reboot today, almost exactly 24 hours after installing the latest software update.

This time the crash happened just as the phone was showing me an Instagram notification but before I tapped the notification or interacted with it in any way.

Heh! I didn't mean to shout, I wanted to emphasize that one could tell if it had rebooted because it takes a bit for an app to load into memory after a reboot, but once it's in memory, the next time you start it up it starts faster because it is already in memory. The "could" was meant to be "you probably can tell, but it's a sort-of subjective thing that may or may not be noticeable to you, depending on how sensitive to application start times you might be" but in one word. :)

Reactions: Newtons Apple
My Nike AW Serie 2 rebooted around 2 a week. Apple support told me to disconnect the watch and reconnect again. After doing so, I don't have that problem anymore.

Maybe once every 2 months.
If you're on the iOS beta channel then it'll happen a lot more often.

Hate to say it but I've been extremely disappointed in my Apple products lately. My iPhone 6 has a noticeable bug with the battery (dies at anywhere from 1%-54%, randomly restarts, will jump from 2% to 40% when plugged into charger) but I did not expect to have such issues with my Apple Watch. It has not been a frequent problem but every so often my watch has decided to restart on me which can take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to function. Normally this wouldnt be such a big deal but the last two times its been in the middle of workout and seeing as how I bought it to act primarily as a fitness tracker its been frustrating to say the least. Theres also been issues opening 3rd party apps on the watch in addition to long loading times for the fitness and weather apps. Has anyone else been seeing bugs like this?

I did one time have the watch reboot right in the middle of a workout about 5 months ago. But that was on old software version.

Have you tried starting fresh with everything? Like reset the phone and watch and start over? I do that often like I do with my PC

My series 2 would reboot on its own every couple of weeks or so, and every time it came back on Pokemon Go would ask for access again. I don't know if it had something to do with that app or if it was just a coincidence.

I uninstalled PG and will see if that helps.

AW2, 2 times that I know of since I purchased in December. Both times were when I was accessing an app in the Doc, Heartwatch and Waterlogged. I am wondering if it is timing problem, where the app is in the process of sending a notification and I am accessing via Doc....still very satisfied with AW2.

My AW series 2 has never crashed. Not once, since I got it at the beginning of the year. Maybe that's because it has AW OS3 - or I strongly suspect it might be linked to certain types of apps that interact with the device. If I do have a spontaneous reboot, I'll keep you updated.

Since I've upgraded to 3.1.3 I haven't had any random reboots. Once I did have the watch lock up when clicking on the weather complication. Had to do a reboot.

Crashed today at 2 weeks, 4 days.

My phone made a "ding" sound and I turned my wrist to see the notification and it rebooted. I did not physically touch it or interact with it and I still don't know what notification i missed.

Not normal. Based on your posts on here, I would contact Apple. The Apple Watch isn't designed to be crashing intermittently.
