I hate to be pernickety but the bumped it to C2D in Nov/DEc of 2006 so you are a month or so away from 2 years to the day!

Bought the first 17-inch Macbook Pro released, in June of 2006. So it's 2 years and 4 months. I'm planning on upgrading with the updated models.

It was an ex-display model from PC World and was very cheap

Feels like brand new though - just popped a 320GB/7200RPM drive in a couple of days ago. This'll placate me nicely next Tuesday for whatever new shiny toys come out...

I have the original Macbook Pro 1.83GHz core duo. I believe it will be three years old in February 2009.

But it won't make it 3 years with me as the owner as I will be upgrading when the new models hit next week.

Eh... somewhere between six and eight months. Couldn't dream of selling it. I absolutely love my 2.4 MBP!

I'll upgrade in another 2-3 years.
