Mine is about 23 month old, bought right after the C2D came out.
It's a 2.16Ghz model, I recently put a 320GB 7200RPM drive in it an maxed out the memory to 3GB so it's still quite speedy and will be with me for another year.

Owned my first MBP in Feb before they refreshed it with Penryn chips. Would've owned it until today if not for the continuous problems with all the units (repaired or replaced).

2.2 ghz c2d macbook pro w/ 128 mb nvidia 8600m gt

purchased early july, 2007.
1 year, 3 months ago...

it survived 4 drops, including on concrete/asphalt! (didnt drop it again after that incident) from that day on, I was a firm believer of the durability of these things. it got scratched a bit on the bottom n side, but its all cosmetic.

still runs like a champ.

I've got a 15" Powerbook G4 1.67GHz. Still runs just as well as it did the day I got it. I did have to buy a new battery though, original would only last 30 minutes unplugged. It's been over 4 years now.

I just got a 24" iMac though and I love it. I do most of my design work on it now, so I just use my PB for everyday web browsing/portability.

14 months for our 2.2 SR 15" (no GPU problems!)
unknown on the used 2.16 15" we bought 2-3 months ago.

Cheers,

I bought mine the day after the Penryn refresh so about 7.5 months old. Love this machine compared to my old Dell. Although I'm putting this on CL so I can buy the new one Tuesday. :D

8 month old SR 2.4. I hope to get a Penryn 2.6 from someone who is selling to get a new MBP.

13 Month Old Santa Rosa 17 inch 2.4 ghz

8600M GT Chipset no problems so far :X *Crosses Fingers*

1 year 4 months. Not bad given that the newest top of the line is only .2Ghz faster :)

stock Core Duo 2.0GHz with upgraded 2GB RAM and ArcticSilver thermal paste
According to coconutBattery: 32 months :)

I'm using a 12" G4 PowerBook that I bought in March 2004. It's 4 years and 7 months young. :D Hoping to be the proud owner of a new MBP on Tuesday. I've held out so long because I just couldn't give up my 12-incher!

Today I opened the seal on a NOS santa rosa 2.6 17" hi-res 4GB RAM mbp, purchased on blow-out at smalldog. I'd held it without opening to see whether the news about the upcoming refresh would be worth returning it and ante'ing up the extra quid for a new one.

To borrow a phrase from 2000, "not this year, not this time".

My new computer, which I fell in love with upon this build's release and was underwhelmed by the replacement penryn version (a bit more VRAM, sfw), replaces the last-model 1GHz Tibook, and will eventually take over duties currently handled by my first-gen G5 dual 2.0 as well.

Keeping the Tibook on the side, though; boots into os9, and i've got soooo much software (non-universal/intel) that's too difficult to justify re-buying at this point. Until the balance shifts, that hinge-plagued turdbox will be on call in a box somewhere, at the ready. Hell, I only paid $280 for it!

can't exactly remember when I got mine but it was not to long after they 1st came out. Mine, as you can see from my signiture is the cheapest "Pro" they had. I love every minute of mine, I use it daily, as the family has taken control over the iMac. I've never had any problems.

Mine is about 8 months old..though a 2.15ghz C2D refurb. Need to buy applecare for it because I really love this machine, and unless the new macbooks are priced nice, I don't see us parting!
