Full name: rank ~800 in the 1960's
Nickname: rank 2 in the 1930's

I'm so out of fashion ;)

When I was born my name was ranked #8...last year it was ranked #87.

Not so popular anymore.

We spent a few hours playing with this when we first discovered it a few years ago... just a bunch of psychology grad students wishing they had babies, though.

It only has names in the United States, though, so mine obviously doesn't come up. It's a moderately common Indian name, though. I don't know of any comparable programs for name registries in India, but it's particularly common when you take into account that it's used in compound names like Jean in French -- Mohan-Das, Mohan-Kumar, Mohan-Raj, etc.

From 1st at the start, to 3rd when I was born, to 19th today. Natch, I was named after my maternal Grandfather. ;)

John has fallen on hard times.

Send money.

Wow, that's pretty cool.

I have a pretty old-fashioned name. Ranked 15th or so in the 1880's, now 300th. :D

I guess being US-centric it figures that an Eastern-European name wouldn't rank high…

1880s — 193rd (Probably loads of immigrants! :D)
2007 — 844th (Although the Anglicised variation is 7th in 2007!)

in the 80's - 146
now - 194

this is a very useful tool...now i can ensure that my future children will have obscure and/or old-fashioned names. :D

When I was born: 52nd
Rank now: 73rd

I'm going out of fashion :( Time to replace me with the latest model methinks...

I thought that was cool. Hey Ezzie, my daughter brought home a wild baby bunny and I named her Esmerelda, Ezzy for short. I think that is nice name. No joking there I really like Ezzy.

Now back to the topic. when I was born in the 60's the name Rose was 130, today 351.

My daughter Kira in the 60's was not in top 1000, when she was born in the 80's 415, today 268.

When I get home I will have fun with this feature. :)
