When I was born- #170 (1990's)
Now- #2! (Isabella)

I remember about 7-10 years ago I could never find keychains with my name on it...now they're literally all sold out! :D

In the 1880's mine was 2, 1990's it was 18, and now for 2007 it was 8.

William would explain the popularity in the 1880's I guess.

My name is no where to be found

But i like having a unique name.

But i remember i used to be little, i got mad because i could never find my name in those mini toy license plates, or bracelets :p

LOL. tell me about it. They never had Julius, but now I love the name. I know when someone says it in a crowd, they are talking to me.

Rare, very rare. It's a nickname for "bear" in our language. In fact, it's so rare name, that once I heard someone yelling my name in a market and I went and asked her (she was some women in early 30's) that where may I know her, and she was like "uhm, I was actually calling my son". There's one great benefit, and that's people remembering me after first meeting. ;)

This is great! Me and my wife are expecting twins and we are wanting some fairly original names, so I'll have to show this off to her.

I'm 28th!
I never knew that Gabriel was becoming such a popular name. Throughout my whole life I've only met a handful of Gabriel's.

My name peaked in popularity about 40 years ago (at 14), and has seen a pretty sharp decline ever since, flattening out in recent years. Currently it's ranked in the 80s.

...That's fine with me; I like my name but there's too many Erics in this world already. :p
