I get the feeling my mother was into following trends... Back in 1960 my first name was #2 (but has dropped to #12 today), and my middle name was #38 (and is #10 today). So while a little too common for my tastes, at least it seems to have maintained it's popularity.
My sister's name went from a high of #21 when she was born (1970) to #436 currently, and my wife's went from a high of #24 when she was born (also about 1970) to no longer being in the top 1000.
I peaked at 157 and am now in the mid-700s; the wife peaked at 15 and is no longer on the list; the kid peaked at 917 and is no longer on the list (a variation did manage to reach 589)
