Yes, but it's surprisingly stable. I've had no issues with it in Ventura.
I would really like to install, but I am quite wary given it will overwrite my existing non-beta installation. Low risk tolerance here.

For me, installing it would be more of an act of my inquisitive nature so I will tamp it down and wait until we get closer to D-Day!

Name a website that doesn’t work with Safari. I use Safari all day long and have yet to run into a website that doesn’t work. Even government websites work these days.
I work both in the USA and Israel and there are a number of Israeli sites were Safari is not function at 100%.

I really do not like patronizing Google, but ... I switch to Chrome when I am left without a choice.

Have you tried Microsoft Edge? It's basically Chrome with all the Google stuff removed (but most of it is replaced with Microsoft stuff).

You mentioning Firefox reminded me of one thing Safari is terrible at, which is rendering huge files. Admittedly it's a niche use case but an HTML file over something like 10MB will basically leave Safari locked up for ages.
Is that just when the source HTML is 10MB or when an infinite scroll website reaches "10MB worth" of HTML?

Does anyone know if the Safari 17 Beta will automatically be kept up-to-date as new betas are released or will we need to check and update manually?

How do I uninstall the beta? Do I have to wait until the official Safari 17 is released?

Been running Safari 17 beta on Ventura for a couple weeks. I like the new features, but performance has been clunky. I'm seeing choppy scrolling on most sites, and Safari 17 seems to be using significantly more battery than old Safari (even during sleep). Anyone else encounter these issues?
