Alright, got it to work

Ends up while i updated all of my many devices today, apparently my iPad was out of date and I installed 14.2 not 14.3

I just installed 14.3 and Fitness installed just fine.

Does anyone know if you can use Apple TV on your MacBook, or does it need to be an Apple TV box?

I want to signup, but dont want to watch on my phone/ipad

I'm also getting the 'app requires specific features . . .' even after forced restart on an iPad mini. I don't have an Apple Watch (it's coming) but I'm wondering if that's why we're getting that message even on our iPads? I'm assuming that even though you don't have to have an Apple Watch on when you do the workouts you have to have one registered. Also, I've got a iPhone SE (the older one) and seeing the same message when I try to update. Or am I wrong; are some of you seeing the message even with a registered Apple Watch?

Why in the world Apple can I not see my workouts from the fitness app on my iPad. There is so much data there that I would love to see on a nice big screen instead of threw a phone. Sometimes, for a multi billion dollar company known for its ecosystem, they make NO sense.

For some reason Apple thinks health info doesn’t belong anywhere but your iPhone. Stupid.

I’m getting can’t find Apple Watch message. Anyone else?
Interesting, I got a message that the app couldn’t find the watch on my iPad, but it gave me the option to continue without a watch. I do have an S6, but it was on the charger and presumably out of range.

Oddly enough, my wife’s S2 shows up as an option on the Apple TV, but when in select it, it says not compatible. I wish it were smart enough to not show up at all.

So “incompatible” message may have something to do with launch countries. If that region is not with those few countries this is the result.

Once I switch to Australia, it works and I can download it again.

It’s sad that the feature is locked behind 2FA but oh well.

And 1 month trial seems to be the default for all supported Apple Watch owner. 3 months trial is for new Apple Watch owner.

Changing the region to US in the settings app didn't work, I was still getting "This app requires specific features not available on this device". In order to make it work I had to switch to my US account in the App Store, then it was available to download.
So, if you have an account in a country where Fitness+ is not available, then you won't be able to download the Fitness app.

Have the same issue as many others here. Force quitting don’t change anything, following the article link don’t change anything.

From what I can recall, this service was limited to a few regions, but checking the details in the App Store, my language is listed as supported. So what gives?

So quick question... as I understand it you need the Apple Watch to use fitness+ on ATV, but don’t for iPhone/iPad... so if you don’t use the Apple Watch with the iPhone/iPad will it update health data etc or not?

I’m able to see the fitness metrics on my ipad when I do a workout. It made no sense that it wouldn’t particularly if they were present on the AppleTV.

I still can't download it this morning. I'm wondering if it's because my wife is signed into the iPad, and she doesn't have an Apple Watch. Does it verify if the account of the signed in person has an Apple Watch already registered? If it still doesn't work for me later today, I'm going to sign her out and sign in with my Apple ID to see if that makes it available. I did a workout using my phone this morning--it was high quality and I enjoyed it. Much easier than sifting through YouTube trying to find something.

Anyone having an issue with family sharing? My wife can see my trial on her phone but on the iPad it asks her to start a trial. But going into family sharing on the iPad shows fitness is shared with her.

I downloaded & installed the 14.3 update right as it became available yesterday. As soon as my iPad rebooted, the Fitness app was right there on the Home Screen. Not sure why it wasn’t there automatically for others. 🤔
