I am wondering if the amount of photos and messages and info in iCloud has to do with how long it's taking. Like a true developer with a separate phone that has no other backlog of data on it would speed up the process.
Same here. I have a ton of little apps on my iPhone (most of which I never use, but I downloaded them over the years to try them out), a lot of photos and videos, and all my iMessages ever since it was introduced, and indexing is still running.

Has anyone running iPadOS 27 escaped the waitlist? I’m on day four. iPad Pro 13” M5, btw, so running it should not be a problem.
FWIW: Once I put in for the Beta on my iPhone Air, it showed waitlisted on my M4 iPad Pro. Once I got in, both were active. So my iPadOS 27 is off the waitlist.

If its of any help I read that you need 20Gb of space for the install and if you don't have enough it can mean you're stuck on the waitlist. I cleaned out some extra space and a few hours later I was off the waitlist. It could be coincidence but worth checking (only did this on iPhone).

I too am on the waitlist on my iPhone 16 Pro and iPad Pro. The MacBook Pro has got it but nothing else.

Got the Siri app but opening states 'Update in Progress.
Adding support for Siri hasn't completed, Open Settings to check status.'
Same here since last Monday. On Friday I power cycled my phone and after unlocked, I was able to briefly see the new Siri app UI, but both 5G and WiFi connected and I am back to this message since then. Indexing is still going, with more than half the phone storage capacity available, and the device being on a charger for maybe 20 hours a day every day.

Ah, good to know!

I just got a new iPhone 16 and sadly, the new ones they make now still are sold only in 128GB and my previous phone had double that in 256

I'm sure I have probably a lot of things that are bogging it down, so I'll go ahead, try this and then report back!

Sadly I don't think I have too much more to clear, but when looking in my storage info, it shows the Apple Intelligence info is showing it's using 10.79 GB of space

And from what I've seen/heard, most of that space aside from the basic Apple Intelligence assets and also for Siri AI, so from the moment you turn it on, it's sitting there but just waiting to be enabled by Apple flipping a switch to actually get it turned on

I sadly think what you experienced may be just a coincidence though

Nope, not yet still, but over on the iOS side on an iPhone 16

The even more annoying thing is I've found out that once you join this waitlist, the assets to make Siri AI work alongside the basic Apple Intelligence assets are there, but they're just dormant and it's all riding on you getting off that waitlist to make them spring to life

Going on almost just over a week now, which I will have officially reached come tonight at 6:00PM (joined the waitlist after getting my new iPhone 16 last week on Tuesday)

And now, I have reached the start of the week and 2 day (9 days) mark of being on this waitlist....

Gah, will I ever get it?

I keep seeing a bunch people in these past few days saying they finally got it, but meanwhile, a bunch like me are STILL waiting

If it's worth anything, I'm somehow still stuck at 85% indexing for gosh knows how long...

How do you see % of indexing on your phone?
