How to get WhatsApp working on iOS 8

This is exactly how I solved my problem.

Anyone know why WhatsApp hasn't integrated the quick reply option, like iMessages for example?

I can't use Xcode 5.1.1 as it doesn't support iOS8... so using Xcode 6 beta 5..
Xcode says .mobileprovision is on the iPhone, but looking on the iPhone via Settings/General/Profile, there is nothing there.

I've just tried it again with the latest build of Whatsapp and also an updated version of imodSign, and still get the same results...

App won't install on iPhone... Whatsapp icon stays greyed out....

Thats an issue with the beta but if xcode says its there and your signing with the right certificate i see no problem. Maybe try the newest beta.

Thats really odd, works fine on my mac safari.

Its still a beta.
 
Anyone having problems with installing provisioning profile / greyed out whatsapp install the profile via x code...ip5s / Yosemite / x code beta.....worked fine

Sadly, Apple still doesn't allow other apps to use quick reply.
Only multiple actions are available for now :confused:
 
Damn iModsign don't work for me on Yosemite DP6...:(

When i resign WhatsApp, imodsign do create my resigned app but nothing is create..::

Any issue guys?

There seems to be some problem. I tried downloading Whatsapp latest build thrice but imodsign doesn't work. Last version I successfully signed was 2.11.9.2942 which is what I am currently using. I am on OS X Mavericks.

stop spreading false information, all apps will support quick reply in iOS 8 its up to the developer to implement it, however apple doesn't allow new API submission till iOS 8 official release, they can only submit compatibility-with iOS 8 kinds of updates

I'm not talking about submitted apps here. Have you checked on iOS Developer Library? iOS8's API is documented there, obviously. But there's no information, samples or anything about quick reply (but you can find info on how to make "multiple actions" and customize buttons etc.)

How do you know that? Because Xcode 6 doesn't have the API for quick reply. Do you have documentation about that it will be available for developers to implement it?

after reviewing the WWDC looks like there will be "active notifications" devs can find ways to make it work but you are right theres no quick reply for what i can tell
 
Hi guys,

WhatsApp notifications are working for about 1 day with the Beta.
Are your notifications working? How long?

After days of struggling with this i stumbled along this post suggesting Instasign which worked for be in Yosemite Preview 6.

Yes i do believe AA tools also works but they require you to setup a Provisioning Profile with them and your own will not work with their App.

iModSign looks like it has worked but it does not create a resigned .ipa where you request it since Preview 6

Just spoke to makers of iModSign they said there is a bug on Yosemite DP6 and Beta 2. They are working on a fix but they feel it will work when the GM comes out.
 
Whatsapp notifications worked for me from day one even in iOS 8. Just that, it crashes often.

Is there any possibility to increase stability of Whatsapp in iOS8 by ourself
